I am puzzled about the third eye though when you say ?cos the energy centre known as the Third Eye is always open? surely that would place anyone under extreme stress being able to constantly see the aura. As I understand it, this part of the brain is dormant in the majority or people.

There is only one spirit inhabiting each physical body and that belongs to its owner. While mediums who do trance work can be influenced and even controlled by spirit, this does not take place by spirit entering the body - Invasion of the Body Snatchers!

As I understand the energy centres, and I can be wrong, they act as a psycho-physical bridge, linking us to the energy source. They act as transformers in order that the enormous power of the creative energy source can be stepped down in order for us to receive it. That would not happen if our energy centres could be closed by us. We can neither open them or close them, contrary to popular belief.

I work as a medium and I daresay my energy centre known as the third eye is stimulated when I am doing so, but when I am finished my work, I switch off; that is not closing off the energy centre cos I wouldnt know how to do that, even supposing I could, I switch off my awareness of the spirit world and bring it back to my normal level of consciousness.

People who are objective clairvoyants do not become aware of everyone's aura every time they link into spirit and start using their clairvoyant vision, it really doesnt work like that.

You jogged my memory of how disappointed I was when I got into the third book of the Celestine Prophesies, stupidly thinking they were factual and getting quite into them at that point in time. I was completely sold on the whole theory of the quest and was glued to the books until I realized on my own ("wait a minute, this is too out there; this is ****). I felt so foolish having been taken for a fool for so many of the books wasting my money thinking they were factual. So your entry made me relive my embarrasment ops:
