Ambitious :!: Like it Nat.
A friend of mine, clinically depressed, said he wanted to be reincarnated as a cigarette because the burning would be quicker than the "burning" pain he was experiencing in his current incarnation.
Another friend of mine, who already thought he was the center of the universe, said he wanted to be reincarnated as a sultan so he could have a harem or two and live the ultimate hedonistic life style.
If it was me, I would have had my clinically depressed friend reincarnate as the sultan and the other as a cigarette.
Now the question is "If I have a choice . . . ?" And indeed we do have a choice. But the choice has already been made. I believe this as fact and so do some discarnate entities.
You see, there is no such thing as time and so we cannot have a beginning or end. In fact, we experience all of our incarnations at once. Let me see if I can insert a diagram. (Please excuse my pedantic manner and bear with me.)
Now, the long black line is linear time. The red dots are your incarnations in the physical world Earth. The red line is your current incarnation. The ball of colors is your oversoul. The black lines connecting the linear time centered incarnations to their gestalt counterpart, the oversoul, show the breaking away from time to pure being, which is where the oversoul resides. The reality is that we operate with the experiences of our past incarnations and our future ones simultaneously so that information from these different existences can be shared amongst each other. There is an overlapping, though we rarely recognize it as such. In this way it is also possible to affect our past and future in the present moment, which has the implication that nothing is "written in stone."
So you can now see that the choice of reincarnation has already been made but can, at the same time, be changed. I think it's fascinating.
As far as answering your question, however, I would choose to be a sultan like my friend. What fun I could have in a harem is
almost beyond my imagination.
