Default My path... my view

Like many here, I am eclectic. I find that all "religions" are many different paths. We may travel many paths. Have we enjoyed the time we spent there? Did we pick up something on that trip that has stayed with us, altered us, prepared us for something?
Many have travelled the paths before and many found and picked up different things along the way. We share stories of our adventures. Others share their stories with us.
To me, the great masters all offer words of wisdom and hope and encouragement. I love the Hindu way of accepting that we can ask for help from many different sources and chose where, when, and how we ask for help, give thanks, or even help others. I love the Buddist way of finding the way within ourselves. I love the calm acceptance and peaceful way of the Tibetian monks. I love the Christian philosophy of treating others as we would treat ourselves. The absolute release of ego to obtain oneness with divinity appears to be at the core of most religions.
Why is it okay to mix and match your clothes and styles within your house; yet blending and merging different religious concepts seems horribly wrong to so many? When we focus on the similar aspects: doing things for the greater good of all, striving to become better, contributing in a positive manner, etc. then we experience the unity and the peace and happiness that so many claim to seek.
I do not ask for help from a specific source. I put out a request to any who might wish to help. It matters not to me who or what answers the call or what the status of that entity may be on the spirtual or evolution ladder.
I also believe we create our own environment. I believe in positive thinking and visualization. I read a lot and do a lot of research into what fascinates me. I believe in synergy, so I take from a lot of knowns and create my own new view.
Good luck in your own endeavors.

I personally don't know what I believe in some days I think there's a possibility that there is something out there other days I just feel like its extremely unlikely that there is anything out there. It's just something that fluctuates on a weekly basis.

I'm currently open, seeking. I'm trying to find something that fits, but currently I have my own faith.
I believe in everything from unicorns to faeries, to werewolves, vampires, ghosts. Just, in my own way. I think everything can be summed up as "in my own way". I love to listen to others and their believes, as long as they don't force it on me, I love to share my belives as well. But I think there is so much strange going on in my head that I can't really adapt to any religion, fully.
Oh well, maybe I just haven't looked hard enough.
