i've often wondered why the date and time of birth is so important. i'd've thought it'd be the date / time of conception, or do some astrologers use this instead / aswell?

Techincally thats when it all begins, when your alone, while in the womb your technically 2 people in 1.


Did you know, it might sound morbid but its true.


While in the womb your alive.
When you leave the womb you are dying.


Perhaps the date is specific to the first recording of your slow degredation of the body.

i'm confused again

imagine you're an unborn child(!). if you are attached to this other person (mum) who is dying because she has left her mother's womb, and you are "technically 2 people in 1" with your mum, doesn't this mean you are "dying" and "alive" at the same time?? :? and your mum was when she was in her mum's womb, and, and, and (infinity looms!) :? gah!

You are dependant inside the womb, your bodily functions are still controlled by the mother.

Its only when you leave the womb your own functions kick in, and that is when your body technically starts to die.

So becoming self suficient is perhaps the date many choose the birth charts to begin, since destiny and fate starts on that second you leave the womb.

I'm no expert, but here's how I understand it.

I know of know system that uses the time and date of conception. The reason for useing the date,time and place of birth as the key to the Natal chart is that this is the moment when the brain begins to process the world we live in indepentantly for it's self. Up till then everything is being filtered through the Mother.

My baby is due to be born in nov / dec this year...is there anything i should do like check for 'bad times' of birth or anything special? do u know if there is anything special about the time i should be aware of?

Howdy. Im new. Just thought I would add that I dont think it could be accurate enough to try to form a chart from date and time of conception. You would have to know exactly not only what date you concieved, but what time you concieved. No woman is really sure are they?

Hi Guys,

Here's a thought.
When you are in the womb you are surrounded by Fluid - yeah.
And the body is around 70% (whatever) water.

The day you are born, Represents where the world is when circiling the sun and where all the other stars are alligned.
From the time you are born you can work out where the moon is on that date.

Hence giving you a moon sign - Significant to where the moon was on at that time on that day.
And a star sign based on the day - and in relation to where the stars were alligned at that period.

To explain this scientifically (easiest way to paint the picture), We know that Gravity from the Moon controls the Tides.
At birth the water is being pulled in many different directions depending on where the stars/ the world & the moon is alligned (given that they all have gravities).
It would be reasonable to assume on that allignement and that it would surely have an effect on how you felt inside. Your first feeling so to speak.

Thoughts! Hopefully this makes sense - the more I read it the more I think it will confuse.

i'm not all to sure at why but i read a book about zodiac with every single birthday in it (only read about my birthday though) and it was pretty accurate. it gave famous people that where born on that day and alot of other info. i found it highly exciting. if anyone knows where to get a book like this i'd like to know.

Astrology does seem to work best when the time and date given is the moment when you are completely separated. My dad has been doing this all his life, and now I'm picking up on his work. "It's scary accurate" is what my previously skeptical friends say. I mean, my dad created a program that generates the positions of the stars and what signs their in, ect. Using this his program generates a matrix grid which holds all the aspects.

Now, recently, he's been noticing certain aspects that should show up that didn't and just sections of people's lives missing, so he's rewriting the program with more celestial bodies in it, such as Chiron, Vesta, Ceres, and a few others. Once he's done, it will be very very accurate and should be good for predicting love and stuff. (sorry for the off-topic chatter, just had to mention that somewhere)

So it's definitely the moment you're separated from your mother, because it's perfectly accurate when it's set at that time.
