I do not place much faith in books helping anyone to develop mediumship. Development takes place in a circle where people come together as a group and allow their spirit guides to unfold their mediumistic potential.

Some people cannot sit in circles, often thru no fault of their own so their developing takes place online in the various psychic/spiritual chatsites

And books, for me, would have to be the last resort but, having said that, they can be very helpful and I often give groups a book which helps them to set up a circle and advises what to expect. To use a book to develop yourself would be difficult and I certainly wouldnt recommend it.

What the difference between a medium and psychic.? I just recently learn about mediums.

Psychics connect to other people living here and generally give the person getting the reading information about themselves , mediums connect to those living in the spirit world and give peope evidence of their loved one's in spirit continuing to exist. All mediums are psychic, but not all psychics are able to connect to the spirit levels. And we all have the potential to develop these abilities if we put some work in to it.

the medium i went to see was fantastic in some parts terrible in others,
she said many things that made me cry,the first being my partner and my eldest son dont get on,which they dont.then said my nan loved the flowers i took to her grave but would prefer a yellow rose and i should carry one when i marry,this was my nans favourite flower.she then talked about my past and my children most of it being correct.then she asked me a question i could never of imagined,"who was the man that died on holiday"? this was a friend that had fell of a balcony and died instantly so i told her his name,she said no thats not the name im gettin then told me his nickname,i was gobsmacked.she even said that he had laughed at his mum at his funeral,she had said something like if he was here now i would kill him for putting me through this.
i decided to call her one wednesday to make another appointment with her only to find she had passed away the day before.

I went to one too, she got me hook line and sinker!! Have to be very careful what i say and who i go to from now on!! x

I am soooooo wanting to go talk to a real medium! But I haven't done it yet cause of money issues. Does anyone know how I can find a REAL one that doesn't want $400.00 a hour???

Spiritualists churches should be able to guide you to someone who either charges nothing or just enough to cover the cost of their time.

Thank you. I have been searching for a Spiritualist Church anywhere near me and haven't found anything. I've never heard of those here in my neck of the woods..I wish I could find one!

As for free mediums or psychics here, I have found 1 psychic total, that is close to me and she charges an arm and 1;2 a leg..which I don't have...lol

But thank you for the advice, I'm still looking!!

Lol, you should have seen me. I'm not a medium, but I can normaly guess stuff and get it right...it freaks people out. XD

I do have psychic powers but I'm not a medium.


I cant talk to dead people, I have predicted deaths that have happend though.


i'm sure I could obtain the power to talk to the dead, but it freaks me out so I never tried.
