hi im a pisces and yes have worked in the healthcare industry for over 11 years.so yea what u wrote rings very true.im a very sociolable person.my husband is a taurus and we do fight.hes very stubborn.we do get along much beter now..but i wonder how compatable we really are.

You do need the time of birth to calcualte properly though......
First thing an astrologer would look at is the Asc, ascendant sign ruler and in what house it was, sun sign and what house it is, moon sign and what house it was, plus the aspects (just maths really between planets) Also Sun/Moon midpoint, if you have one of the outer weight planets there ie; Saturn, Neptune, Uranus or Pluto then you automatically become an honoury Saturnian, Neptunian, etc cos they can have major influence on how the Sun sign operates.

I would also look at the tightness of orbs. If Moon, Pluto or Neptune are involved in very tight orbs,,, then they will add to the water elements. Also how aspected and whicah aspects to the Moon could matter. It's really complex, not just signs. Besides that...how do you know tropical zodiac works better than sidereal which introduces signs 23 behind tropical?

Sorry don't know about chinese signs, just western astrology. If your not a typical Virgo then you probably have something in the sign before or after it, plus your sun sign can be in any one of 12houses. You really need to read study and do more research and they way you will understand yourself better....

leo is the sign before virgo so maybe it isn't so strange that i connect well with that more than virgo.

the chinese signs are very interesting to read also but with all these things I read for fun and interest not as a serious vocation. as you may know, and as i have been told on many occasions by my more spiritual of friends, virgo's are often not grounded. and for me it seems to be true, if i look too long into this stuff i loose sense of time and self. it can only be a hobby which must be left aside when i get too spaced out.

do you have experience with virgos or maybe other signs who have a tendancy to be less grounded than others? i always found that comment amusing from my friends that i mentioned before. " they're virgos! they're not grounded!" lol. also referred to as "blonde" virgos, lol

Well my moon is in Pisces and that is so very prominent as is my Gemini sun sign.

And my husband is a Pisces (sun and mercury). We're both pretty psychic and extremelly concerned for people down on their luck (sucker for sob stories!)

My sister is an astrologer and she tells me that Neptune is very strong in my chart and is not badly aspected, I remember my Moon is trine Neptune. So maybe that gives more of a Piscean influence. Either way, I feel the Pisces flow through me all the time.

LOL I am a double scorpio and I hate mind games.. nothing makes me madder than someone who does that .. might be why my ex ( taurus) is an ex.. My best friend of over 25 years is a Cappie with a scorpio rising.. we complement each other really well.. I don't want control over anyone except myself.. I am very loyal to those I love but if you hurt me or anyone I love, I will not do it back to you but I will not ever have anything to do with you again.. I am very private but that is because I don't think people who are not my friends or family should know everything about me...guess it is more of a trust issue than anything..

I find it really strange how when somebody says well im a pisces but i dont fit what a pisces is can be countered by well you must have a sign before/after and various other arguments on how you can pigeon hole 1/12 of the worlds population in to 1 of 12 character traits.

i know what you mean. the weird part is people are so desparate to be pigeon-holed into some category in order to explains why they do what they do, why their life sucks or why they haven't achieved their dreams. this is only so that it takes the heat from having to face up to their own personal shortcomings. i used to be into astrology just for fun and because it seemed so accurate to my young impressionable mind but now im aware of its dangers and want to help others.
