I saw a medium yesterday and Matt came through. She told me things she could not have possibly known. My first husband John came through too and it was so comforting. Matt is in what she described as 'intensive care' to regain his strength. But she was really suprised to hear from him because it is so soon. John is with him and she said they both love me so much. She also said loads of other things that she could not know. I feel so comforted, Matt told her he had got his sight and hearing back and was healthy again although very tired. I feel so much better knowing he is okay and can hear me and he knows I was holding him and passed him over to our Lord Jesus and the Angels. I know now he will be the one to come for me when my time comes and I will live my life evry day 'till that wonderful day comes. Much love always. Michelle xxxx.

hi all

my boyfriend died in a tragic accident on mon 6 nov, i buried him yesterday. i want to know how long it is before i can contact him and the best means to do so. there are so many psychics and youjust dont know which ones are for real. michelle47 would love to hear which psychic you went to. at a time like this all you want to hear is things that no one else could possibly know apart from the 2 of you. the night he died i just lay in bed awake all night just longing to see him, or smell him or just a touch from him but nothing. i have so many questions

hi all

as you are all aware i just joined the forum within the hour and posted a reply, after i did this i went up stairs. the lights were OFF, the bulk flashed once , i dismissed this, then a few seconds later i looked back it flashed again, the 3rd time i stood under it and said my boyfriends name it flashed again. i got the coldest shiver down my body and my heart raced.
i phoned my friend (an electrican) he told me if the light was switched off it was impossible to flash.
im spooked!

i am so sorry for your loss - it must still be quite raw for you
as to how long - well that is each to their own ... i know that sounds like a pretty silly answer - but it is still valid - there have been instances when our loved ones come back through a medium almost immediately - and others wait longer - what i will say is this that all our loved ones are with us daily in a place where they are never lost to us - our hearts.

as for your light - well, in front of an electrician , my light bulb did the same - turned off and flashing - gave the poor man quite a scare as he knew what i do ( i'm a medium ) rofl - unfortunately - it was the bulb- not quite fitted and it flashed ( having been there for months all ok ) it had come lose due to many factors not least of which was vibration from my kids pounding in the stairs !

remember those spirits who we loved will always be there - just a quite word away

thanks for your reply pam, yes im still feeling a little raw and still wondering what actually happened, but i dont feel sad all the time, i feel happy that he is now with his dad as he missed him so much.i thought on the funeral day i would break down but as soon as i walked into the church i felt a great strength come over me

Remember one of the easiest ways for spirit to connect and communicate with us is while we are dreaming.

My childrens father came through in my childrens dreams only weeks later which amazed me due to the circumstances surrounding his death.

It has helped them in the grieving process and they have being able to talk to him and even hug him which is not something they can phsyically do any more. A comment one of them made was, they were so shocked because he looked excalty the same.

One of my children said that with her spiritual knowledge and beleifs she knows he continues to live on and so she shouldnt be so sad but still finds it so hard he isnt here to hug and hold in her arms any more. I am so glad that at least in dream state they can occasionaly experince this.

Listen to your heart and what resonates to your soul for the truth is not through the words of others but what lies within the very core of your being.

Hello everyone,I'm Bluemoon and have just joined this site. I spotted this topic and wanted to say how sorry I am on the passing of your husband.
I lost my husband just over a year ago in fact the day he passed,I felt him very close to me so decided to visit a medium to see if there were any messages he could give me.
I was astounded. He told me that even he was surprised that hubby came through so strong and so soon after the date of his passing.
My husband was a very spiritual man and could have been a very strong medium if he had allowed his gift to come through.
Since then,I have had vivid dreams of him in which he appears at several stages of his life and ages. One of which was of him being taken to the halls of healing in the spirit world.
In this dream,I saw doctors,nurses and ambulance drivers arrive to take him to their hospital.
I cannot see spirit but hear them at times and have heard my husband's voice just once after he passed away.
So keep talking to him,he is listening.

I am very interested by things mentioned in this thread.
Firstly my sympathy and blessings go out to everyone who has lost a loved one here and who is finding it hard to grieve and understand.
There have been a few mentions of lights going off whilst thinking of loved ones and it send shivers down my spine!
My nan died 15 years ago, I think about her all the time.She was like a mum to me and I loved her so much.I was only 13 when she passed over but I still cry to this day when I think of the loss.
I went to mediums and spiritualists and also the church once she passed, I always got very vague messages from personal readings,nothing concrete and nothing from the church.As time went on I learned to accept and not need confirmation as much,I had a lovely dream which I believe my nan came and visited me and after that I found it easier to accept and not keep searching for readings and confirmation that she was watching over me.
However the last time I visited the spirit church, I desperately wanted a message from my nan.I had just had my daughter and longed to know that my nan knew this and what she thought of my beautiful lil girl. I didn't get the reading I wanted as I left another man who had the gift took me to one side and said "don't be disheartened, our loved ones on the other side are around us all the time,they will give us signs in their own way, you just have to be open to receiving them"
Walking hone down the street, I was just relaying these words to my friend and said "Do you think my nan will give me a sign" instantly at that second the street light which we were under went out instantly, leaving us in a dark spot. We ran home,excited and a bit shocked.We then relayed the story to my friends mum about what the man said and the street light going out and I asked my friends mum "do you think it was my nan 2at that exact moment, the living room light pinged out, no blown fuse,no explanation!
Once could be a coincidence but twice at the exact moment I asked them words ,I AM WITHOUT DOUBT!
I believe that spirits must do this regularly when we think about them to show closeness reading other posts left on this site.
anyone else had similar experience?

Hi I'm 44 and my great grandmother passed away when I was 10, I still talk to her now, I don't seem to get a reply of any kind, except for all the hair on my body seems to quiver [i think that's the right expression] would or could this be a sign of her closeness, also I have only had one dream about her a couple of years after her passing it was so nice, why can I see her again..... [ i hope I do one day I love her so much]

the one thing that I would say slasher is that you will without doubt see your nan again one day, take comfort in this fact. Your nan will come and collect you when it's your time to pass over and you will be reunited with all your loved ones who have passed. My great aunty was a medium and although myself and other family members have a belief of spiritualism and we have enhanced sixth sense I would not say that any of us have developed clairvoyance or mediumship skills. However I have learnt a lot from things explained by my great aunt and passed down. Her life was so interesting and she had several spirit guides which fascinate me, including a small indian girl named popsy and a very formal doctor who was a healer.
Anyhow I digress,,,,,what I am trying to say is that if you believe in the spirit world then take comfort that your loved ones are well but although they will come and visit you regularly and they will always here your thoughts of love, they also have a life to live for want of another expression. I am of the believing that in the spirit world our learning is just begun.Some of us must learn things in spirit regarding our time on earth and others who have have advanced through the spirit realsm s have jobs to do, just like here on earth.Some will be helping new spirits adjust to the other side, some will be guardians for young children, some will be healers etc etc.If you imagine all these new things to learn and tasks to do then I guess spirits have just as busy a time as us in our daily lives!
Your nan will come to visit you.I have never received a genuine message from a medium which I have paid for.My family are of the belief that you get the gift for free and therefor you should share it for free to help others, and only ask for a volunatary donation to the church.I would say do not waste money trying to contact your nan through "phone a psychic lines" or anyother such way.If you think it will bring you comfort then sure go ahead but like the gentleman told me at the spirit church.Loved ones who have passed will show us in there own way that they are watching over us, you just have to be willing to accept it.You say that you get tingles when you speak to your nan, the likely hood is that she is hearing your messages and responding in this way, she is touching you gently to say "i am here" I get this feeling also. Also sometimes I will think of something completely out of the blue associated with a loved one passed away.For instance last night as I drifted off to sleep,suddenley an image of a binocular case came in to my head, why on earth would I think of this, out of nowhere? then I felt the sensation of tingling and knew it was my grandad (he died ten years ago and he used to enjoy the night sky through binoculars but up until just yesterday I had completely forgotten that fact about him!)Just be open to visits from your nan,what your feeling is her way of letting you know "I'M HERE AND I'M OK". :P
