For a longgg time now I had something happen to me that was beyond anything anyone could imagine unless they've seen it themself. I think I experienced an OOBE but what I don't get is some of the things that I experienced I haven't read happens in OOBE.

I will try to explain the best way possible.

It started around Noon I was fairly young probably around 11 but I still remember this incident and trust me when I say this I still remember it like it was yesterday I have no clue why I just do.

Anyways I was laying in front on the TV looking up at it, with a blanket on me. I was watching TV and I just for some reason decided to look up at the ceiling, looking up at it I notice a pattern(it was that sticky/bumpy ceiling) and I was looking at this pattern for a good minute for no reason at all, then I close my eyes for 4 quick seconds no less no longer. I opened them back up and I got this urge to go to the kitchen, no clue why but I did so(now that I recall I did not uncover my blankets I went through them) and as I was walking I notice the TV was no longer playing and everything was foggy, misty, and really cloudy. Sorta like silent hill. I proceeded to walk and I go into the kitchen and stop when I see an extremely black figure on the other side of the counter it had NO color on it around it or NOTHING! COMPLETELY BLACK... I could tell it hadn't seen me then I seen it look at me and it quickly ran, at this point I was no longer in control and my body was walking in reverse and I somehow walked in reverse and fell back into my body's E-X-A-C-T position(again going through the blanket :/ awkward ) and then I looked up at the ceiling at the SAME exact pattern which I closed my eyes and then I opened them and everything went to color and the TV was playing and the world around me was alive and I could feel a sudden difference in everything..

I did go and check the kitchen I recall and there was again nobody home. This was the weirdest thing that ever happened and I really need to know what I was at the time and most importantly what I saw!

Hi I_m_a_lo, and welcome!

I have limited knowledge in O.B.E.'s so I can't make an educated guess as to what "exactly" happened. However, I will say that I've heard many people say that their most vividl experiences in o.b.e. was when they were children. It seems that as children, our brains aren't all clogged with the everyday stress, and inhibitions that adulthood seems to give us.

There are people that frequent these forums with much more knowledge about o.b.e.'s than I, so hopefully one of them will notice and respond to your post.
