Has anyone seen the film 'The strangers' yet? Visited website last week, but none the wiser really. Looks quite good, but hype isn't the greatest thing to believe, is it? Would like to hear peoples opinions if they've seen it. Apparently it's inspired by true events; does anyone know what these events were? I am intrigued-please help! thanking you, Karenxxx

Its a classic make you jump film, the strangers film site is cool! i like liv tyler. it reminds me a the movie scream, all these modern U.S scarey movies seem to be alike to me.

Thanks for that- I agree the website is cool but it doesn't really explain the film. Really fancy watching it now as i much prefer jumps to gore(though it has its place). Know what you mean about recent horrors being a bit samey & predictable-sort it out, Hollywood! Can't say I'm a big fan of Liv Tyler but I loved Lord of the Rings Karenxxx

Yeah, it's supposed to be based on true events, but what made me think ( I don't want to give it away) was how does anyone know what actually happened!!

Hello,

I have seen The Strangers it was a good movie. It is about a couple staying in a cabin and they start to get terrorized by a group of people. A lot of people did not like the ending of the movie, but in the beginning it states that the events that took place were never really explained so if you keep that in mind you should like this movie.

I thought it was gunna be well good...
with all the creepy masks and freaking ppl
out in a house in the middle of no-where but
the ending was so rubbish....
