Spirituality builds upon personal psychology and well-being. But it is not the same thing. Spirituality is concerned with our deepest and most important desires for happiness, peace, and a bit of fun. The many experiences and sensations of mind, body, and the external world also tend to drown it out. Thus, spiritual practice is all about learning to get in touch with our most precious part, our spiritual nature.

I suppose that is one way to look at it... if you "dissect" spirituality....if you are experiencing something less then desirable to your emotions, could that still not be spiritual...I have been in many less then desirable situations and still... there was something very spiritual about it. I wasn't thinking about love and peace of heart and soul at the time.. yet...in all of it's experience.. it was spiritual... i never left who i am ( which is a spirit having a human experience) so therefore.... i am always spirit... and in that.. i propose, i am spiritual

This question being in the Psychic Book Club section of the forum I thought I would recommend a book that I found to have many answers as to what Spiritualism entails.
Of course, there are hundreds of great books written regarding spirituality, this is simply just ONE of my favorites. Spirit Teachings Through the Mediumship of William Stainton Moses Here is a link on the site to find this book: http://***.psychics.co.uk/pdfbooks/fb_1.pdf Enjoy!! |
