I just start drawing spirits the other day. The reason I started drawing them was because I felt sorry for the spirits because I was having a hard time finding a sitter. So I thought why not draw them and maybe that would help. I'm not sure if you can put description of them on here so I left that out.

The funny thing is I never even liked to draw. I'm not very good at it and I don't do the spirits any justice. I try to draw what I see. I only post one in the art class area,but will do more. I read that guides help with the drawings, I hope they help me that way I will be able to draw them better. lol

Anstar im glad you have a place to on here for spirit art. I enjoy looking at everyone’s pictures.

I hope this is where I'm suspose to post this. I'm still learnning the boards and how to use this site more.

Hi,

Wings you can find barbs picture if you click on community and then in the window it opens click on social groups, once there go into spirit/psychic art group and the picture is in there.

Barb, I've seen your picy and left a comment for you, I would suggest you look up Frank Leah as he also saw spirit and drew what he saw. He was a trained portrait artist and his pictures are truly remarkable as they are almost photographic in nature.

Yes Anstar I seen the posting thank you. I left you a comment thanking you for words of encouragement and for the advice. I will look up Frank Leah. I think I left the message under my pictures. LoL I will get this all figured out where to post. I'm just going to keep a folder of my drawings. I'm going to look in to some kind of art class to help me.

Should I tell my art teacher I want to draw Spirits? LOL I better just tell them I want to learn to draw portraits. In Ohio I don’t think that would go over well, or maybe it would. I don't know.

It was interesting that you mentioned Frank Leah.
I have a book published in 1943 that is called 'Faces of the Living Dead' which is all about Frank Leah and has many examples of his work in it... Absolutely amazing.
I found this book in a rubbish tip not long after I started my journey as a Psychic Artist. It was just sitting there right in front of me on top of a pile of refuse that had just been dumped.

Wow, you are so lucky iamannie that book is so hard to get hold of, I have a copy on borrow from my mother but it has to be tret with kids gloves as its delicate. I have heard a rumor that it may be being reprinted at long last but don't know for sure or when it will be done, I'll be 1st in line if it is as his work truly was remarkable.

You could perhaps use them as an example in your Spiritual Art courses, or even keep for your own records.

I have also recently started doing spirit drawing and seeking direction and support. I keep getting all sorts of faces coming out onto paper.. This has happened for years, but I suppressed it until VERY recently . Would appreciate talking with other people who have this experience

Hi Iamannie,

sorry it's been a while before answering your post. I have a copy of Frank Leah's book on long term borrow so have seen his work. Not sure what the copyright law's would be on his book, either way you may want to check that out before sharing some of his pictures although I'm sure people would love to see them for they truly are remarkable in my opinion.
