Over the last few weeks I’ve been thinking about Reiki, the connections with spiritual healing and so on. So I thought I’d put my thoughts down on paper.
When I decided to stay at level 2 Reiki and learn more before going to master Reiki I got a massive call to go to the local spiritual church and learn spiritual healing. I sorted out my dairy for Wednesday nights, and decided to take time out of the club I’m in and go to the spiritual church for 6 months to learn their healing. The first thing I noticed was the attitude toward Reiki was not good. This I can understand because there are so many people out there who’ve been fired over a weekend and think they r healers. I will go on to this a bit l8er. When the healing circle was opened I was going to have a treatment because I was not deemed to be a healer in the spiritualist church. This was fine with me, I was there to learn. I was in for a shock because as I was having a treatment, this felt so common place for me and I had been doing this type of healing for many life times.
The healing started with the leader asking for Angel help and protection. At that moment Ark Angel Raphael entered the room, (well to me it felt very much like Raphael as I work with angels quite a lot). He stood in all four corners of the room and could clearly be felt.
Then the energy vibration was asked to come down to a healing level. When I felt this the spiritual energy vibration is a lot lower than Reiki. I found this fascinating.
Then the healer giving me a treatment, rested his hands on my shoulders, he was tuning into my energy vibration and adjusting his energy to slightly lower than mine to stimulate the healing with in myself.
I could feel the healer within my aura and feel what he was doing, at this point I understood that Reiki healing is very similar, but reiki is a lot more intense, a bit like turbo charged spiritual healing if you like.
As the healing started I was picking up on the symptoms of the other people having a treatment, the woman over the way from me had a sore shoulder, the woman to the right of me needed a good night’s sleep and was worn out and the old man to the left of me had pains in his fingers and wrists. As the healing started I noticed that spirit guide and healing guides where in the room and where chatting amongst themselves, I found this to be odd because the healers where not communicating with the guides present.
When the healing circle had finished I was asked what I thought about the healing, so I explained all the above. I have never felt the needed to go back to the church as I understood there healing, opening up to spiritual healing, I have gained a good healing tool for my own reiki healing tool box, and as for the difference between spiritual healing and reiki healing, Reiki is like spiritual healing on steroids but having the knowledge and understanding of the two will open up a whole new world of healing where a healer can approach a treatment with a wider array of tools, and if any of them tools work and helps to heal then it does not matter what healing style is used.
As for my roots being in Reiki I will stay on my thoughts about it. My Reiki teachings come from the traditional Usui system (or as close to it as you can get in the west). In level 1 I had 4 attunements over 4 weeks, 1st was my physical , 2nd emotional, 3rd mental and 4th spiritual. Every lesson was 3 hours long, so I had 7 days to understand my lesson as well as the attunements. When level 1 was completed I had 25% of the reiki channeling within me. Then to level 2, I had another attunement, this gave me 50% of the overall channeling ability. Level 2 was 6 night classes over 6 weeks, including in the classes doing a treatment on someone every week. After the 6 weeks my master’s gave me 4 weeks to go out and have a play with my teachings then they would assess whether I should be attuned to master (giving me 100% of reiki channeling). I took this on board and told them when I was ready I would come back, I did, 10 months later. So over all it took me 12 months to do my reiki course, I feel the journey to reiki master is all about learning how to use the tools given to you by your masters, when you become a master, this is the time you become a student of reiki healing, the lessons last your whole life and into the next life we have and so on.
SO MY QUESTION IS: - HOW CAN ANYONE BECOME A REIKI HEALER IN ONE OR TWO WEEKENDS?

Hi mate

I think u would change your thoughts on spiritual healing if you were to have more experience of it - lol - In my experience regarding healing with angels their vibrations are extremely high especially when healing children.

Each healing session will not be the same, the spirit energies work in so many ways, so please don’t take this one session as a yard stick for spiritual healing.

I have attained a high level of healing by purifing myself & by finding myself & the connection with the God within - That’s only the tools that I have needed - lol - The purer you are - the finer the energy u can channel - No one can do this for u - not even a master. So it matters not if you are a channel of Reiki or Spiritual healing - It is all about the self it’s as simple as that.

in my opinion spirtual healing or reiki it is all fom the universal energy so g which ever makes you the most comfortable.

I dont think it needs any special ceremony or technique the intent is key

But I was looking deeper into spiritual and reiki healing.

When healing, reiki or spiritual you are dealing with the energy vibration of the person and not the angel. The angel is there to protect, over look and guide, if you dig deep you will find that this is true.
What i think you are trying to say is a child’s vibration is a lot higher than a adult.

All us healers are only channels for the flow of universal energy, like a big funnel. It dont matter your age, health or sex it’s just the intent to help. So a 20 year old will channel the same as a 60 year old and this will not differ, it’s the universal energy doing the work and NOT there healer, weather the healer thinks they have a HIGHER LEVEL of healing or not.

Yep i agree that intention is a key component, for any course of action. It can move mountains.

When u mention that the angels are there to “protect” thats true, but they are there to heal as well, they have many purposes / abilities. You mention that all us healers are only channels - that’s true & that it doesn’t matter what age or sex you are - that’s also true.

What i am saying is that in order to be a clear channel, you have to purify the self, & only YOU can do that, when we are free of angers, guilts, resentments, jealousies, judgements, etc, we will then become a clearer channel. A 60 year old woman with a lifetime of suppressed emotion will not be as an effective channel as say a fifty year old woman who has spent her lifetime finding herself & forgiving & loving all those that have wronged her. So “no” not everyone can channel the same like u have mentioned “ The so called funnel will not be flowing free with the energy because we would have manifested barriers / blockages that will be contained within our energy fields so will prevent a clear flow.

Now when i here people say that they are putting faith in “tools” that a master has given you and charge you between £100 - £500 for a certificate that states that you are are now a master after a series of weeks or months doesn’t wash with me because I have spent 20 years on finding myself / healing myself & others & work with a multitude of energies & I have no certificate stating what I am or what I am not. - lol - Although i understand certificates are increasingly required nowadays for public / insurance purposes & I also don’t have an issue with healers charging, but charging for something that can only be done from within...?? That saddens me.

I am concerned because It’s all within each of us to be the best channel that we can be, we don’t need secret symbols to align us to make us channel say 25% energy one month & then 50% the next, no one can do it for us as it is our journey & it Is a duty to ourselves & all of the hard work has to come from us.

I am not saying that masters can’t give us guidance / meaningful advise but a true master will say that “only you can achieve the state that is required to become a pure channel” Save ya money - lol - & that will only come about once you have found yourself & by no other means - It’s not easy & It can’t be done in a matter of weeks / months / years - It can take lifetimes..

Hi, I wanted to ask some advice, i am very interested in learning about healing...i was having a reading done with a lovely lady who also does reiki and offers all kinds of healing and she said to me that i am very intuitive and a natural healer, i dont really understand what this means or how to build on it. I havent done any reiki courses as sadly rather skint a lot lol and just cannot afford it....but i have been trying to practice by myself and im not suree if its working or if im doing it right, but i have noticed that when i really concentrate (i am trying to send healing and positive thoughts to someone i love very dearly who has spent time in iraq and afghan and although daily he is very strong it has affected him and he has horrible nightmares, randomly he also has a bad back) anyway i find when i am trying to connect to him my hands get very hot and i start tingling throughout my stomach...it doesnt happen all the time and i wondered as im so inexperienced and new to this if it means anything? Id appreciate any advice or help anyone coud give me Thank you xxxxxx

Hi Rhi-bee,

personally I'd say pop along to your local spiritualist church and ask about if they do any healing courses if it's an SNU church you will find you will have to study and put in over 100 weeks in order to get your qualification but well worth it imo. The course fees are a lot more reasonable than a reiki course and spiritual healing is just as good if not better in my experience. Of course this all depends on what country you are in and what churches are in your area and how they do things may vary but well worth looking into. Good luck on your journey, becoming a healer is a wonderful thing in my book and I admire those who can do it greatly.
