I would like to ask the community a question so here goes!

We have all read or heard about sleep paralysis but I was wondering if ' old hag syndrome' is the same or an entirely new concept as they both seem very similar. I have read a little on the subject but not a lot.

My brother has suffered these symptoms and there has been strange paranormal activity around his ex partners family. Is old hag syndrome just myth?

Old hag syndrome is the same thing as sleep paralysis, what people feel or sense while suffering an episode of sleep paralysis varies according to what they fear I guess, for example if your afraid of aliens and suffer from sleep paralysis your rmore than likely going to see or sense an alien in your room, which would explain all the alien abduction stories ........ I know of one sufferer who once saw a cowboy stood in her room, why she feared a cowboy i have no idea lol but people report strange stuff but all have very similar experiences.
