If spirit communication is a mind thing, if you think about a spirit will it pick up on it?

could this be him trying to communicate with us.
We have moved 160 miles away from our home town but my mum still lives there.

We are having lights flickering now that never used to !

My mum can regularly sense and smell him.

My mum today has rang me to say she went into the living room to clean and has had a strange experience, when she was hoovering my stepdads chair , all of a sudden a grey dust in a circle appeared where he would have rested his head.
It wasnt there before !!

Has anyone heard of this dust appearing before ?

Yes mannix they are connected through thought. and they do hear you, Its not like they are igoring you, because they are there, but sometimes it takes awhile for us to see the signs or for them to come through because i believe spirit first has to learn how to comunicate and second, will come when they feel person is ready

For me, I know when spirits are around jsut like you would notice if your mother was in your room, or your brother or your friend... you seem them physically, i feel them, they tell me what they want, who they are, what they are feelnig and how I can help through though and feeling. I helped a lost soul yesterday after him being here for 3 months following me, he had waited 159 years for his story to be heard and it was very very touching.

There is no time in spirit so he was not actually waiting 159 years for someone to listen to him and souls do not get lost we are met by loved ones when we pass over so there is no chance of us getting stuck or lost.

I agree with keaka. Spirits do not get stuck here, but some may choose to stay close to the earth's vibration for whatever reason. It may seem to us as if it is years since a spirit's passing but in spirit, time is not their reality. Personally I do not believe that any spirit needs help from those on this side of life, although they may want to connect on a mind to mind link with us.
