This is more to astrology then just your sun sign, but that being said I can tell you that my mom is a libra and my dad is a leo,and they have been together for 35 years.

Melly, that's a very personal and generalised assumptions for who is compatible with Librans!!! Leo would be quite good cos that want the control, very organised, bossy theatrical and want to be centre of attention. Librans need someone who can make descisions.................LOL

Traditionally people say air signs are compatable with other air signs and water signs with other water signs but every sign is different and people are also individuals and other factors can waver away astrological incompatibilies.

I am a Libra and find the compatability of signs with libra interestings

With the other air signs:-
Aquarius: might take a more relationship centred than average aquarius and a more independant than average libra to strike a balance here.

Gemini: both are very warm and friendly natured but may seek the same things and compete a little together, but with a dose of maturity it can work.

With water signs:

Cancer: there are a lot of differences but both are peaceful in nature and have a strong need for a relationship, and if both adapt a little it it could turn beautiful.

Scorpio: there is a good link between libra and scorpio but they are often better as friends than as partners in most cases. Libra and scorpio could become a little suffocating and could implode on itself. Libra especially must maintain his independance when with a scorpio.

Pisces: There are lots of good links between these two signs but in a lot of cases pisces will moan too much much for the libra and libra may be too demanding for pisces but ive know it to work.

With Fire signs:

Aries: There are many different types of aries and not all are leadership freaks - although watch out because some are! Sometimes with the right aries and the right libra the relationship could work. Because they are opposite signs they can understand eachother but must work on holding the relationship together because as much as opposites attract, opposites can also go their separate ways.

Leo: Leo will always be straight foward with libra and if you meet the right leo you will soon know about it! In some cases though libra and leo can both be too opinionated for this to work and some leos can be selfish although there are also caring and generous leos out there!

Sagittarius: Libra is romantic minded and sagitarrius is more funloving. While libra likes sophistication and polite people, the more blunt sagitarrius likes surprises and being spontaneous. Despite their differences it can be said that they tend to share the same ideas. Ive known it to work but it can be rocky!

With Earth signs:

Taurus: This can be something of a romantic whirlwind but there may also be uncertainties and there are major differences. Communication is key and the temperament of the relationship may fluctuate but with a bit of work it could turn out well!

Virgo: Virgo and Libra have very different temperaments and could end up going their own separate ways. They must be very mature about it if its to work and make sure that they do not critisise eachother too much and accept the differences.

Capricorn: not much in common here but it has worked provided both a prepared to adapt a lot.

With Earth Signs

Realistically you need to get your chart calculated, learn the basics and see what sign is on the Descendant of your chart.

If men are asking you would look at his venus and moon. If women are asking look at sun and mars.Then any planets in 7th house of marriage, their mathematical aspects from those planets, the mathematicaly aspects from sun, mars, venus and moon ........

Newspapers and magazines are 'pinch of salt' astrology and not to be taken seriously. If you know your Ascendant sign then you should look that up in newspapers cos you may stand a chance of getting something half accurate.

It is more highly recommended that you get your chart done off astro.com and they have a Free six month transit forecaster..... :wink:

I can honestly say being a Libra myself I am rather amused by this post!

I have had two major relationships and one was with a fellow Libra, and the other with a Sagitarius. I can honestly say that I had a deeper connection with the Sagitarian and our relationship was about fun and was carefree, the problem came when things became too serious they appear to run away. With my fellow Libra the relationship was I believe more intense we both understood where the other was coming from and enjoyed each others company.

I would love to know who I am meant to end up with up but you never know until you meet them. After all it says Aquarius is a great match for us but in my personal opinion and from experiences they aren't very nice people.
