For about 4 weeks I have been seeingvisons of pairs of eyes first it was only with my eyes closed then about two weeks ago it has been with them open..I have seen diffrent varation of shapes and colors witht the eyes the ones that seem to be distinct are the colors of brown and blue but others do show... Does any one know what this possibly cold mean.. I am thankful for ay help anyone could giv me

hummm, this is the second post like this today i have read... both posters seeing eyes... maybe there is something more to this than meets the "eyes" :P

I am starting to wonder if this becoming more and more popular. I have not really heard anything about "seeing eyes" as like through a window of vision.

When you see these eyes... how are you feeling, emotionally about them? Does it change your emotional status at the time at all? I would be curious to know.

I too have been seeing a pair of eyes.. Are your eyes green by any chance? because that is what i saw. And im beginning to wonder if it was just that i foresaw (which has become normal for me now) Emerald111's Avatar which is green eyes. I might have forseen that i would end up in this particular post.. Anyways.. You may be seeing someone that will make an impact on you. And the emotion you feel when you see them might indicate whether they will bring good or bad news/contributions to you. Also, if you see a pair of blue eyes with a ver thins golden wavy string around the pupil, that might be me

there are no certain emotions when i see them at first it was startling but know i can just stare and look at them

ive had this experience many times, i often see objects now thou, like one time many months ago i went thru a phase of seeing carri doors then windows a month later some young druggies tried to get thru my window with a crow bar but lucki enuff i walked in the house and scared them off, funny enough tho i have stared to see the eyes again look kinda like cats eyes to me, it frightends me tho lol but guess thats just the person i am lol . hope you find the answer tho and good luck, please get back to me about it would love to know what the eyes mean xxx take care

Hold on one of the eyes do resmeble cats eyes and the other day when i went out for work there was this cat on the porch and walk way that didn't seem startled when i came out the house it actually walked towards me

I notice two threads on this topic as it was raised in the chat rooms so good to see you continuing your discussions here on the boards.

In my development circles I have had a number of people say that they sometimes 'see' eyes in front of them when they meditate. Similarly others sometimes say they see a face close to theirs. I have had it happen to be a number of times.

There are a number of possible explanations as far as I 'see':

1. The most common images the brain will see in random shapes or patterens are faces and also eyes. The brain tries to make sense out of random shapes and these are the images most easy to recognise. Try looking at clouds. What do you see most. It will be mainly faces and parts of faces such as eyes. It is quite natural for this to happen when a person is in meditation and obserrving their thoughts or seeing the light behind their eyes..

2. On a deeper level a person may be aware of the inner eye - what the mystics call the third eye. This is found in the centre of the head and is rooted at the pineal gland - which in the early days of evolution was a reptilian eye.

3. It could be imagination. Sometimes people can 'see' things out of the corner of the eye. So for example if you are scared of spiders you may think you see a shadow scurry across the floor. In the peripheral vision (at the edge of our vision) we may connect to our subconscious mind. This is probably the case with cats eyes.

4 A person sitting for mediumistic development may be in touch with their guides but in my experience the guides first connect with our thoughts so we build a familiar recognition before suddenly showing themselves in a frightening way.
