If there is anyone who has heard of, or believes they have, Rainbow, Crystal and/or Indigo children let's hear you stories! I find it quite facinating!

Cheers,

Default Indigo

Hi JKB,
I beleive that i am an Indigo Child, i've also been told this by other people.
I have all the personality and character traits of an Indigo Child, and i was pretty psychic as a child, and even had some mediumistic abilities at such a young age.

It was pretty tough for me growing up, i felt like an adult trapped in a child's body lol.
I got a long really well with all the adults around me, but i never really related very well to the other kids, but i suppose i'm not the only one.
I'm also very stubborn, will fight injustice anywhere i see it, and i'm not too big on authority figures either.

I remember while the other kids where thinking about what they were going to watch on t.v tonight, i was the one asking the teacher if she had sorted out her row with her husband, even though i wasn't supposed to know that shh.

I suppose life was tough for me growing up because there wern't many other Indigo kids around, or others that i can relate too, but now i see these kids everywhere.
Which makes me feel a little less alone out there.

Well i'm pretty busy at the moment but when i get the chance i'll right some more.

Thanks Rosepetal for sharing that.
Were you angry a lot as a child too? Many Indigo kids are mislabeled these days with ADD or ADHD. I know a little girl who always struck me as being wise beyond her years. She has a terrible temper and has been labeled with ADHD. I've always thought that was a mistake.

Cheers,
JKB

Default Indigo Crystal Nonsense

Indigo Crystal Nonsense

Kids with psychic and mediumistic gifts - that's great if it is verifiable. Let's get them into a Spiritualist Lyceum for an proper assement.

But in my opinion all this Rainbow Crystal nonsense is completely unsubstantiated and probably sending the kids messages that do more harm than good. It's cool to be psychic now. It never was before. And it's also an excuse for bad parenting if we claim that our children's bad behaviour and poor attention is caused because they are psychic. Nonsense - if anything, psychic and mediumistic abilities would make a better ballanced, contemplative and attentive child.

Next thing people will be saying is that the royal family are reptiles.

Psychic and mediumistic gifts are a wonderful thing but we will marginalise ourselves if we let fantasy and unsubstantiated claims take hold.

I'm sorry to hear you think it's nonsense chp. I think it is an interesting subjuect. I also think that maybe if kids do have psychic abilities at a young age they could be very confused by it all and act out.
If being psychic is real then I think so can this so I keep an open mind about it all.

Cheers,
JKB

ps. As for the royal family, well..you said it not me!!

Default Indigo

Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but as for me i like to keep an open mind about everything around me.
A lot of people could say that all this psychic stuff is nonsense.
Maybe the only thing that labeling does is separate people instead of bringing them together.
But when i read the stuff about Indigo kids it feels like home to me, everything that i have read about Indigo kids resonates with me deeply.
I wish there was a way of testing all this stuff out, i try not to discount anything because anything is possible.
I was confused before I read anything about indigos, but when I found out about indigos that?s when the confusion stopped and all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle started fitting together, I finally understand and it finally feels like home.
It felt like home, not many people have been able to understand me and it's nice to know that there maybe others out there like me, and that we may understand each other.

In answer to you question JKB
I was always a bright and exceptionally gifted child, sometimes i would even argue with what the teachers were teachings us, i was little miss know it all lol.
A lot of the times in class i would find myself daydreaming (Astral Traveling) in class because what the teachers were trying to teach us i had already learnt or it was irrelevant or boring and they wondered how i was such a bright student when i didn't pay attention in class.

Anyway on these wonderful adventures i would learn more things there then i ever did in class, i would see and visit so many beautiful places.
As a kid i would crave intelligent mature conversations with people, so the only place i got that was talking with adults, and those conversations were few and far between.
Even now i get frustrated i feel like as though i have to wait unitl i'm 40 to even have intelligent mature conversations with people, because most people my age are too busy talking about Paris Hilton.

And yes I did have anger problems also because I?ve lead such a harsh life, but I really am trying to let go of that anger now, because I know if I don?t it will eventually destroy me in the end.

There's just so many scenarios that I?ve been in were i have acted way to mature for my age.
The most vivid of those memories I remember one day when i was 10yrs old, i said to my mother when i was really frustrated with her one day.
Do i look like a child to you, i'm quite capable of taking care of myself and then she said to me but you are a child and then i looked at my arms and legs and just looked at
my body and that's when i realised that i was indeed a child i was so horrified, because in my mind i was an old lady, sound pretty silly doesn?t it.
My Mother was so hurt when i said that, it?s like I never really gave her a chance to be my mother, I treated her more like a friend, and I wish I could change that.

I guess I should have paid attention in class when they were talking about spelling and grammar though lol.

Some factual information:

Daydreaming is not astral travel

Default Drums

Well it seemed pretty real to me, i even met a girl while astral travelling (daydreaming) what ever you want to call it.
When we were both just young kids, and about 10 years later i met her in person, i still talk to her every now and then.
I don't think you neccessarily have to be asleep to be astral travelling, just my views.
It reminds me of the indians when they went on shamanic journeys, i think they would be meditating or in a state of calm & peace and they would go to various places, and the beating of the drum would bring them back.
I'm not sure if that's totalling correct but i have read something like it.
