 Despite a crackdown by the Office of Fair trading, psychic scams by post are still reaching Britain from abroad. The latest is from Garriel d?Angelo, who calls himself a clairvoyant, medium and ?grand master of occult sciences.? Recipients are urged to send ?14.00 to an address in Switzerland. The personally addressed letter urges them to ?act quickly because a silent threat is currently weighing you down??
Clearly this letter is a scam and a nasty way to extract money from susceptible people. If you receive one of these letter bin it or complain to your local trading standards officer. Have you had a psychic scam sent to you by email or letter? Please report them on this thread so that others can be aware of what?s out there.

Hi Craig,
I am so pleased that you have started this thread, for it seems that there are many people out there who take advantage of people who know little about psychic work. Personally, I have had a letter once from a so-called psychic in Belgium (I think it was) saying that if I did not send her money my life would be ruined by unfortune and evil spells. I did not keep it and therefore do not have the name to post. I consider such letters not only a severe violation of private life, but also really unfair and so rude. Not to mention absolute rubbish. At the time, I got so very upset and angry by it; Thinking, how is it that people give themselves the right to scare people like this? It also gave me a further understanding of how all areas of life and trade have people who are not genuine - in this particular area of life, the paranormal, psychic and spiritual ascpets, however, the knowledge seems very limited in general (at least in our Western part of the world) so people are easily taken advantage of and made look fools. This experience, however, fuled my passion for working harder towards helping people, and myself included, in understanding more about how 'all this' psychic energy works. What is actually possible? What is not? xxx Rafikki |

Hi, are all the internet ones scams too? I get regular email from 'Rochelle' she keeps wanting me to send for a
full reading, ranging from ?19.99 to ?39.00, i also get some from her friends who are trying to help me, but, they want money too!! i dont mind paying to a bonified Spiritulist, as i have my tarot read locally at the local 'Soul Pressence' shop.. these people come across as really sincere, so people like me, dont know who to trust, so do i use the internet ones as they are genuine, and throw the post ones away...? please advise.. |

If a psychic is sending you emails from out the blue and asking for money, well you know what they really want. |

your best bet is to go to your local spiritualist church, they usually know people who do private readings and there fees are usually only travel fees and very minimal.

Real psychics do not charge you anything..they give you a reading for free. And those who are not working and are genuine psychics do charge a small fee..it's their income you know...but do not whipe ya with $200...$300..charge for a reading.
Here in montreal there are people who some are psychics..others mediums....etc...... and they give free reading every sunday night. And each time there are different psychics..sometimes it's in french..another is in english. So if you ...or anyone happen to be in montreal..let me know ..i'll give you the address...it's in a hotel ..in downtown...next to a Police station. Sometimes there are quiet interesting psychics. One is a guy (Jakes)who's around 40 years old and he always comes in with a bag of stones..each stone is different...he approach you then put his hand then choose a stone for you without looking.....he takes it out then give it to you....then he would give you a psychic message..in symboles. Then move on..to the next person that his guides tell him to move on to.....And his messages are fascinating. Another thing..i do not recommand getting a reading from ther internet..there's alot of quacks on the net..i suggest you look in your yellow pages...then ask people..do some asking around to see who is the best..and who does not charge crazzy prices of course. Best of luck, Patrick |

You cannot call a psychic a fraud dependent upon the amount of money they charge for a reading. You may call a psychic a fraud if you get a rubbish reading irrespective of whether or not it was paid for. I really do think it is time we stop determining the rules for other people and concentrate on keeping our own houses in order
