Hi Kay
well there are so many books that it's really tricky to recommend any one specific author or style to you!! What I would certainly recommend is checking out the online library on this site where you can read some authors for free this is the link http://www.psychic-chat.org/private/...m/library.html - you might need to be a full site member to access this though. Selecting a book to complement your developmental needs is a really personal choice. Maybe pop into your local bookshop and just browse the Mind/Body/Spirit section and see what you are attracted to. One thing that is certainly worth bearing in mind is that (as in all things) what you will be getting is one person's particular view or teachings. Not everything everyone writes needs to make complete sense to us - so ensure you take the parts of it that resonate with you and dismiss what doesn't. No matter what aspect of spiritual practice we are beginning to develop in it is essential that we first come to know self and continue to develop our own spirit first and foremost. So finding a few books on meditation, self-help, understanding your own mind etc would be an invaluable step in my opinion. Good Luck in your reading. Namaste Caz x
