Default Premonition/Psychic dreaming

I've had numerous dreams throughout life that have eerily come true. Generally not one has actually 'helped' or warned me, they're generally just miscillaneous dreams such as skiing on a dirt road.... a week later spontaneously go to the snow but there is ****** all snow and I'm on ski's on that same dirt road??? But I have two very dramatic dreams from the past that I feel compelled to share......

1. I dreamt my mother was sitting on the end of my bed and she said "I have to tell you I haven't got very long to live, I have two rings and a letter for you". In the dream we were both in tears and hugging, and when I woke up I immediately called mum to see that all was well and of course everything was fine. Three days later mum phoned me (she lived far away) and said...."Well I have just come back from the doctor and bad news I have less than a year to live". Mum was diagnosed with liver cancer, terminal and bizarely enough before she died (she died pretty much exactly a year later) she gave me 2 heridtary rings from grandmothers and a letter that was written to my grandfather. I don't know what the purpose of me predicting this dream really was, afterall I found out only three days later anyway?

2. I was at a big bash of a party at 21 yrs old and had a VERY, very big night. I stayed at a friends house and dreamt this really odd looking man, looked a bit like a mad scientist in white surgeon type shirt and white hair sticking out everywhere and a really white face as if he had talcom powder all over it. Anyway we were standing on a beach and he was saying.... "Wake up, Wake up (mink) your dads taking you to Perth today, but becareful of the sharks"! On that very note I awoke at 5am to the phone ringing, it was my brothers girlfriend trying to track me down to say, "hurry (mink) get home pack your bags, your dad is taking you on a spontaneous/surprise trip to Perth". I went to Perth that day, had a great few days and luckily did not encounter any sharks.

I've had many dreams that have come true more often sober than drunk, And many crazy spiritual encounters but what I really don't understand is as much as it is REALLY fascinating why do we get warned of things we have no controll over anyway???

It seems that you are not the only one to have dreams of this sort. I also have had premanitions in dreams. The most memorial of these happened about a month ago: I dreamed that a white car was involved in an accident near an intersection with a shopping center. In the dream, the white car appeared to wreck with a tour bus, and there was a lot of dark ****** material around the wrecked car. Approximately three days later, I was driving my white Mitsubitchi in the parking lot of a local shopping center at sunset, when the sun was reflected off of the windows of a passing tour bus temprarily causing sunblindness. I was attempting a left turn and did not see a maroon moped that had just passed through the intersection until I was almost upon him. I stopped short of hitting him, but he lost control of his moped and cracked up on my front bumper. All of his plastic guards, Remember that they were maroon, the color of dark blood, were shattered around the front of my car. Fortunately, no one was injured, but it seems to be a little much for pure coincidence, don't you think.

Also about a week ago, I began to dream about a funeral that I was attending, less than 5 hours after waking up, I learned that my 18-year-old second cousin had died in horrible circumstances, and 4 days later an uncle of mine died of liver cancer. Coincidentally, the second cousin was the grandson of my uncle's only brother, and was named for him. :?:

Another interesting coincidence that might be considered is that I have noticed that deaths always come in threes. My mother's mother died two weeks before my ninth birthday, my father's father died two weeks after my ninth bitrhday, and my nanny's only great granddaughter died on my ninth birthday. My grandmother died after striking her head on a storm grate, my grandfather died in the middle of a thunderstorm, and my nanny's granddaughter died of a drowning incidence. I had been having many dreams about water in the days and weeks preceeding the deaths.

Since that day, I have given great credence to the matter in my dreams.

My sister had a dream when she was about 15 years old about a girl getting run over by a car. She knew the street where it happened, we drove down that street almost everyday. She could see the girl rolling underneath the car and all the blood, she said there was so much blood. The dream was very vivid and detailed as she was describing it and she even described how she had been hit.

The dream was so real to her that she asked around the next morning trying to figure out if it was real and she saw it on the news the other day or if it was really just a dream. It turns out the night she had the dream, indeed, there was a girl run over by a car on that very street. Everything was accurate right down to the age and race of the girl.

thats realy amazing and to me it sounds like your sister actually left her body and witnessed this accident, how else would she know exactly what happened.

I got something like that once, i was walking along, and while i was walking i kept seeing(not with my eyes) this car coming at me, then, when i was crossing the road, i nearly got hit by the same car i was seeing. that was the most interesting time, but it happens all the time, sometimes in dreams, sometimes not, but if i dream it, it's always in a lot more detail, and usually very vivid, but it's a useful tool, if i'm not stubborn, and decide to get hit in the face by the football(soccer ball) anyway, just to make a point about not playing football(soccer) indoors.

I too dream alot. Very clear, vivid and detailed. I dream about people I haven't seen in years, people I don't even know and friends and family. My dreams are always connected to something that will happen in the very near future (it always does). I have noticed when dreaming of people sometimes their death or a death of a person connected to them will occur or something bad happens. Or I will see someone I dream about. My dreams have been changing somewhat, in the beginning, when I dreamt about people usually bad things happened, however, now when I dream it's not always bad. I would wake up not feeling good and nervous for the person I dreamt about...knowing some ill-will was going to take place. I will even check the news when I dream of someone that I do not recognize in my dreams, either an accident, missing person, or perhaps this person/people who will be in my life in the near future.

I am so glad to have found this forum. I have, just recently, been sharing my dreams with my husband because I need to let people know about this. I have been keeping a dream log also. Thanks so much for listening.

How 'bout this one then. Ive seen the woman before a "talking head" looking at me out of a spot of light in the top right of my vision. I am asleep when this happens. She told me this time that my ex was dying. I awoke - but I didnt - I just thought I did. In this next layer of dream, I called him mother and asked if it were true and I needed to see him. She finally agreed to let me come - she'd been worried Id be too upset because he was close to death and not a pretty sight. So I found myself (like I was beamed up) by the side of his mother's house where a red wheelchair say at an angle on the path in front of me. He'd put badges, strips and such all over it. I found myself in a darkened room, just inside the doorway. A single bed lay against the wall with a chair at right angles to it.

The person on the bed didnt look like my ex but I put that down to his condition. I sat on the chair thinking. I knew I was dreaming and felt I was there for a reason but hadnt a clue what I was supposed to do, just sit there? I felt a bit silly actually. For some reason I placed my cheek against his and felt even sillier. In a moment or two a sensation of love seemed to grow and grow until it almost everywhelmed me - then he breathed his last. I awoke up on the Sunday morning, beside my partner.

So many experiences, so little time/space.

Laalaa
I was crying and feeling sick and disoriented and I felt like that all day. Monday was a little better and by Tuesday I was OK. When I read in the paper that a man with the same name as my ex (middle name was different), same age had died on the Sunday. This wasnt in the normal Hatches/Matches/Despatched bit of the paper - it was a small column in the middle. He'd had a car accident three years previously and was confined to a wheelchair and had died of complications of those injuries. He worked in a distillery about 100 miles from me and lived with his mother since his divorce. I was relieved it wasn't my ex (who was after all my first love - an intense relationship). I couldn't think what it was for though until someone said that Id heard him call out and because I recognised his name, I went. He was dying alone until I got there. I wonder where that very strong presence of love was coming from? Him? Me? or God?

About twenty years ago, we owned three horses and boarded them out at a farm. Two were elderly but in good health. One night, I dreamt one of the elderly horses was galloping across the pasture, but he was a ghost horse. Less than a week later, the horse died of colic from moldy hay. I've been a dream freak ever since.
