Prayers to the Angels

Do you have unexplained stories of little miracles, answered prayers and angelic encounters that lend comfort, strengthen faith - and even save lives? Do you have a special prayer that you say that gives you strength and upliftment. Why not post your stories and angel inspiration on this thread?

I borrowed a DVD on angels to learn more about them. In this DVD they talked about recieving signs from the angels. I've been talking to my angels in the hope to learn about their truth.

The next day or so I went for a morning walk. When I came back home to open the door to get in, on the floor I saw something sparkle. As I bent down I picked up a little gold coloured plastic outline of an angel with a trumpet. There was no real reason why that should of been there, its not like I live at a new age shop where something like plastic angels could be common.

I took it as a sign. I could of accepted it as coincidence and mental hallucination that angels are talking to me but that would be too easy and destructive to something deeper I feel inside. I believe that it is quite true that we create our own destiny and I belive that the angels give us full allowance and responsibility to do so. If we are sceptic then we create a reality where angels don't exist. If we decide to believe, then the angels do exist. Either which way, the voice that is the 'angel' can communicate with you in differrent ways. Ways that perhaps you can accept. It's that good old axoim, that you find what you search for. If you search for evidence that angels don't exist, that's what you'll find, if you search for evidence that they do exist... that's what you will find!

Well of course they exist! I've got a pretty cool story, I don't know whether an angel gave me a sign here, or something/someone else, anyhow, I will tell it:
Last year I was planning on going to Texas for 7 weeks. I had some trouble at home with my parents so the only option was to leave the house (and go to the other end of the world, lol). My aunt sent me an email with a picture of the holy Christoper attached to it. She told me to print it and carry it with me so that I would be protected during my travel. I couldn't print it because I'd run out of ink. I remember a guy had given me a Christoper keyholder 10 years ago while I was on holiday. I thought, if I can only find that 1, then I can carry that 1 with me instead. Of course I couldn't find it, I had probably thrown it away (when I got it from that guy I was living in another house). My mum decided to look for it but couldn't find it either. Anyhow, I left, and mum kept looking and was really concerned about whether I was safe or not. Then, 3 days after my arrival the most miraculous thing happened: she found the keyholder on the ground, about 10 yards from our house (!!!) :shock: for her it was a sign that I was safe, and protected. When I heard it, it really helped me feel more comfortable and at ease as well!!!! I have been carrying the keyholder with me ever since whenever I go on a trip. When I'm just here at home it's lying on a round table in my room amongst candles and other things that have a special meaning on it.

Pretty cool story isn't it? I'd like to know what you think about it so feel free to respond.

Here is nice little prayer for your Guardian Angel. I say this in the morning and at night or whenever I talk to my GA (Guardian Angel)

Angle of God, my guadian dear,
To whom His love keeps me here;

that I have seen an Angel.

After I split with my hubby I was staying in a womens refuge. I was very down and had very little self esteem left. I used to go into town every day and just walk .... usually just lost in my own little world. This one particular day I was doing just that when I heard a voice behind me. I had no idea there was anyone behind me and when I turned around there was a man there. Usually I would never talk to stranger or if I did I would try to quickly end the meeting and get away. But for some reason I felt a sense of peace. He asked me about the town ... saying that it had been some time since he had visited and commented on changes. We walked along together for a bit (something I would normally NEVER do) and then he told me that he had just returned from overseas (cannot recall the country but was indonesian of some sort). Anyways, he then said that there was a phrase he had learnt and he told it to me in the native tongue. Then he said .... "it means you are very beautiful". Then as suddenly as he appeared he said goodbye and left.
I have no idea if it really was an angelic encounter but I do know that at that point in my life he gave me exactly the spiritual uplifting that I needed. I returned to the refuge in an entirely different state of mind than I had left in.

I recently asked my angels to help with a speedy closing on a house I was purchasing. In about two weeks from when I made my offer, I closed on the house. My real estate agent used the word "miracle" to describe how fast this went.

Also, I have a set of angel oracle cards, and I recently asked Archangel Michael to be with me daily. As I recall the next time I randomly choose cards from the deck, I picked Archangel Michael's card and the "Power" card. A few days later I pulled Michael's card at random again. I found this interesting as I had not selected his card in the previous two months in which I had been choosing a card almost every day.

I am learning that we need to realize our power. The divine creator is indeed omnipresent, and we all have the divine within us. We can ask angels to assist us in our lives, and this does not distract them from their mission as they can be in many places at once. I am learning from multiple sources that we all have at least two angels (call them Guardian angels if you will) who are with us from birth and who do not (and cannot) leave our sides our entire lives. We can choose to call upon them often along with any other angels, and they are all eager to help as they have unconditional love for us. Alternatively, we can exercise our free will to not call upon the angels. Since they respect our free will, they will not force anything on us even if something really would be good for us. Thus, by our own lack of knowledge about the angels or our own limiting belief systems, we can choose to live our lives without angelic assistance like so many people do. I think many enlightened people are exploring the angelic realm and discovering for themselves that they can be blessed by the divine as I believe I've been blessed.

Dreamweb i had a very similar experience. when he approached me i had actually walked through the town and was standing on the banks of the river mersey lost in my own world. i thought after where has he gone, he seems calm, and peaceful he also changed my life i went back to the hostel too in a completely different frame of mind. amazing isnt it
