On sunday somebody very close to me passed away obviously I was extrememly upset about this and upon going to bed that night I couldnt sleep properly just dozing and waking up however Im pretty sure I had some sort of visit from this person as I kept seeing them hearing tapping noises and bumps and whenever i closed my eyes i saw nothing but darkness with a white flashing light in the distance?Ive got to be honest it totally freaked me out it didnt seem like a dream more of an overwhelming sense something was going on!
I just wondered maybe was this person trying to tell me they were moving on and had come to see me before?Whats peoples thoughts?

firstly i am so sorry for your loss

well this could of been the person coming to let you know they were fine and moving on, but more to my own opinion it would have been your grief and upset playing on your mind and letting you think that they were doing this, although it did not seem like a dream sometimes they are so real it could have just been a dream

why not come into the chat rooms and chat and maybe you will be offered a reading

Firstly i want to say I`m so sorry for your loss. I can understand your pain of losing some-one close to you.
I agree with summernights, that this could have been grief and upset you were experiencing.
I`ve had loads of visits, and it doesn`t sound like a visit to me. Visits are something that are very vivid, very clear, and in my experience always involves a message being given. You would know if you`ve had a visit, as they`re very different to "normal" dreams.

who is to say it wasnt your the person who has passed to spirit visiting to offer help and support during this trying time.

What i say is accept what resonates and reject what doesnt but always leave it open to review on any fresh ideas or opinions that work better for you.

Hi, sorry for your loss missmartha,

this could well be either a dream, your imagination or a visit from your friend and as gazz said go with what feels right for you, either way please draw comfort from the knowledge that your friend is fit and well in the spirit world.

A thought that occurred to me whilst reading these posts that i think is something to consider, yes when a medium gets a visitation it is usually pretty clear and vivid but for someone who is not a trained medium will their's be so clear? If a person is yet to learn how to perceive and interpret what they get from spirit then whose to say what they will see or hear. Something else here we need to take into account and that is the person communicating just because they are now in spirit does not give them instant knowledge on how to communicate with us.

So imo yes it could have been just a dream but just as easily it could have been two inexperienced people trying to communicate with each other and if so isn't it nice to know they have tried.
