High my name is Danny I'm 31 years old. I am a full time lucid dreamer. I've been doing this since I was old enough to remember. When I was younger my Grandmother passed away. i ways afraid to stay in her house before and after. There was always the presence of something there that got under my skin. One night after her death my mother and step father were having a lot of problems fighting etc. Well I dreamed one night that I was in her house. it was dark and there were demons chasing me. As they would get to me I remember breaking their necks. When I got to one part of the house in a small hall next to the front door My Grandmother was sitting on a small bench that sat under a large mirror. She was calling me to her in a calm voice saying don't be afraid they won't hurt you. When I sat next to her she placed her arm around me and said I know your mother and johnny, my step dad are having problems. she said but don't worry things will get better. She then pulled out a paper and pencil and said you will be moving to a new house soon. She then drew the house on the paper and said this is where you will live. I then woke up puzzled by the dream. 3 weeks later my mother said we were moving. She took me to the place we were going to live. That place was the same place my Grandmother drew for me on the paper in the dream. Chills went down my spine I couldn't believe it. I seen that picture every day in my head up to seeing the actual house. I have had many experiences through dreams. I find dreams to be the gift world. Thanks Danny Danals

when i was ~ 8 or 9 yrs old i was teased alot about being overweight. i used to lie on my bed and think that my body was not who i was. i saw myself as a perfect and kind and loving being. i would "disconnect" from my body and just look down at it from above. it was usually very peaceful but the longer i stayed in that place the more i would start to worry that i would not be able to return to my body, so i would will myself back. My therapist said this was just a disassociation. a way to protect myself from trauma, but i know i had certainly left my body.

Great stories, love the part where you break the demons necks ,! I was wondering what you mean by "full time lucid dreamer," as the only real difference between the dream environment and the astral is the amount/degree of consciousness (ie) i am awake !)you experience in the 'environment' could you explain your understanding of what a full time lucid dreamer is? in any case have a good one ! In the poll I voted NO to having had an OBE, however upon reading through, a very vague, distant memory came back to me..I was about 8yrs old when I would be sleeping in bed only to open my eyes and realise that i was floating above the bed, looking down at my body and this happened several times. I suppose back then I passed it off as a dream but now I am open to believe it could be what you guys are on about..

No, I don't believe I have had an OOBE other than when I was very young (before preschool when I used to have them quite frequently), which, in my opinion, doesn't count as it's so far back I can hardly remember it.

Hi X,
Why do you think they are not valid just because it has been so long? A lot of kids do have OBE's but tend to lose them as they 'grow up' and are told by adults who have forgotten, that they are real events. Good luck with it. John |

The last out of body experience I had happened in the afternoon. I was at my mother's house and my brother started yelling at me. He got very close to my face and began yelling. I felt extremely uncomfortable and like I needed to get away. In a moment, I was.. I was standing behind myself watching the scene take place. I realized immediately that I was out of my body.......except I was still me.....the thinking part of me. I looked at the rest of my family (mother, father, husband and children) and none of them noticed that I was no longer in my body. There was a definite shift in my visual perspective. I had put some distance between my brother and I. There was also a shift in my emotional perspective. I now watched him yell without feeling stress. I felt detached from him emotionally but was immediately concerned that no one could see me.....the real me. I thought what If I'm stuck here ..I'm now just a mind without a body. No one sees me . How awful this is. To be fully functioning mentally but have no physical body to make myself known to everyone else. I now became panicky. I want back in my body. How do I get back. I have to get back now before I'm unable to. With all these thoughts racing around my mind......I felt a rushing of myself towards my body. In an instant I was back in. My brother was close up and still yelling. I no longer cared. I was glad to be back. A lot of strange things happen to me. Most of it frightens me. At night , if I don't leave a light on in my room I am awakened by noises ranging from car horns being blown in my ear, electronic sounds around my bed, heavy snorting or breathing in my face. I am a light sleeper and this has gone on for so many years that I just leave a light on..it keeps things to a minimum. The visitors change over time. I can alway tell. They each have a different way of making themselves known. I tell them to go away and most of them do. Some are very persistent tho and come for weeks. Are these visitors feeling like I did? I don't know. Are they desperate to make contact....to make someone know they are still here? I don't know.
