Hi there,

I recently had OBE after experiencing seeing the Auroa Boralis for the first time in my life,it is also the begining of the auroa aswell.It's been a while since ive had an OBE.I practiced OBE when I was about 19,I used the Spiral of Phi to go out and come back.This time I was afraid,Ive switched off usuing my abiltiy for some time,however,in my OBE,as soon as I said I was afraid and I wanted to come back,I saw my finger going to turn on the light switch and I woke up.
Since I have been in Alaska I have be alot more "sensitive",the northern light exposure has opened my explorative nature and I wonder what would be the most safest way to "see" the lights.I have been thinking about meditating ,due to the fact that I was afraid,I'm still a little unsure I about going there again......

Yes I havce OBE twice, but I vaguely remeber one now. The first time, it happened around last spring(i think?), I was really worried about my mom because she was going out of town on a business trip(i always worry about my mother when she leaves for a trip) and that night she left I slept in her room(because she has the comfiest bed & to feel close to her) So i was worried for a bit that night,then fell alseep. And I ended up dreaming about her,and what she was doing, But Okay well i saw her with a guy and they were,well, getting intimate(kissing), I looked away(i did not want to see my mother doing that),and they were just getting back from going out/a bar. I was hiding under the covers on the next bed(they were in a the hotel she was staying at), and was just hiding because I didn't want my mom to see me(when i looked away i just stopped dreaming about her)
And when she got back about 3 days later, I told her I had a dream about her, and she asked what did I dream, I explained, she just looked at me, And was pretty freaked out and told me to quit worrying about her,and she explained how I she had met a guy,and well yeah brought him back to her room(eh i kinda feel pretty uncomfortable putting that since its her personal thing too, but yeah I wanted to write about my experience and stuff)

I don't know if this is OBE but as far back as I can remember, I've always had dreams about flying. Sometime in the dreams, I'll have a hard time flying high like something is holding me back. Other times, I would be chased by bad man or monsters and the only way to get away is by flying, l make a great leap into the air stretching my arms out. The motion of going up and away with the wind blowing in my face as though I'm really doing it. It feels so real.

Some other times, I would dream about a place while looking down from above then I would see this place in real life later on. Most dreams, I would see it from first person, second person, and third person. Sometime, I'll watch my dream like a movie.

From what I have experienced,it seems to be OBE..

I started to have these when I was in my teens.Still do have them but not as much the past few yrs. Not sure what to make out of them so I have,hmm..fought them off..

When I first started to have them,I felt as if I was being forced to fall asleep,I knew when I was going to have one. I would hear shuffling of feet and whispering.Felt like I was dreaming but was very aware,sometimes I would be "walking" around my home or getting off my bed,sometimes I would feel like I was falling or start spinning out of control. I knew I was not "awake" and force myself to wake up,at times I would think I was awake but was not.I would then again get out of bed and do the same thing over and over until I was awake. Other times I would try and turn on my lights and my hand would not come in contact and I would get that falling feeling threw the door,walls or floor.

There has been other times,I felt like I was in other places..one time I felt as if I was in another country in a mall..hehe..but there was a man there and saw me. He was angry with me,and I could feel from him that he was asking me why I was here.

Alot of the time during these experinces,I feel,evil spirits around me.I am fighting them away with Gods help. When I am back,there have been times I have seen spirits,not the ones I wanna see ither.

I have been told by a person who seen me in this state once,That I am shaking and breathing very hard.I felt I was doing this because I could always hear myself and feel myself shaking,so them telling me this validated what I thought to be true.

O,forgot to add,sometimes I would hear very LOUD...zapping noises,or banging,or,you know that sound if you take a big slate of metal and shake it or bang on it. That the best way I can describe it. I would hear these noises more so upon waking.

Hello. I am 15 years old and I have had alot of "OBE"'s. I didn't think they were terribly common at all. Usually when I talk to people about them, they just don't understand. I am so fascinated by these occurances, and I would like to learn more about them. I want to know what they are, and why they happen. The first one I ever had was about four years ago, and at the time I didn't even know what was going on. I had not even heard about these kinds of experiences, but they keep happening to me. I go to real places in the world, and to prove to myself that they are real, I remember certain points about that place that I had never seen before, and when I actually go back to that place and find those things again, I know what's happening to me is real. I once saw what I believe to be Heaven. I was in a tunnel, and there was a light at the end of it. Against my better judgement, I raced towards it fully knowing that I could be dying for some weird reason or another. When I exited the tunnel, there was just sky. Everywhere. And when I looked ahead, I saw giant golden gates resting on white, puffy clouds. I just swooped around and around them until I woke up.
In other experiences, I just fly around completely carefree. I can fly through walls and everything! Some of the places I go in my experiences are places I have been before, and some are places I have never seen. What I don't understand is that sometimes, I'll have an OBE but then the experience will end as a simple dream.
The only thing that bothers me, is when I'm lying in bed and the vibration starts, and then the paralisys hits me. It's hard for me to separate from my body most of the time.

But anyways I just decided to write a little blurb in here and see what eveyone thinks.

The first time I had an out of body experiance I was 17 years old I was in Redondo Beach CA and I went to bed Thinking about a girl friend that I hadn't seen in about a year who lived in northern CA. The first thing I remember about the experiance was flying high above the earth I could see the lights of the citys and towns below me. then I was standing in her bedroom at the foot of her bed. Somehow she awoke and looked at me and called my name and the next thing I know I am floating over my phisical body, I remember saying to myself "oh my God I'm dead. At that point I fell into myself and I remember the noise of my body as I settled back into myself, my heart pounding and the blood flowing through my veins. It was so peaceful out of myself. I woke up instantly and it scared the hell out of me I was affraid to sleep for a long time after that experiance, because I had no idea what was happening to me. Recently I have found myself going to a astral plane and spending time with others. I am not sure if they are other OOBEs or just beings on the astral plane. But I could have swore that last night I was with my sister and my wife who are both dead.

I have met people when I have been out of the body who have been alive and dead so I have deduced there must be what I call a 'halfway meeting level' where those from spirit can meet with us still on earth. A wonderful place and experience!

Can I ask Vi, (and you know I totally believe this is possible - just good confirmations are hard to come by ... lol) have you ever asked any of these living people you have met and had them remember it too? Just curious?
