Hi My cousin age 24 was killed instantly in a car accident on 10/23/2009. The night of his wake/funeral 10/28/2009 his brother, friends and girlfriend camped out in his bedroom to feel closer to him. They took some photos and there were several photos showing this orb but this one is very distinct. I opened it in photo shop and zoomed in and there is a face in the center. I know it can be dust and all but the characteristics are as follows: very distinct ring around outer orb, depth, shadow casted on wall from light hitting the orb...and what seems like two eyes, a nose and a mouth in the middle.
Please view my photo I will not be sad if you tell me its not an orb. I understand that it might not even be what i think it is but hey, i that's why i am here...to get more opinions. so please send them.
This is no joke, please tell me what you think. The orb is in the top right hand corner of the photo, you can only make out the face if you zoom in a few times.

firstly i want to give you my apologies for you loss (((lilly))) and hope you are dealing with your loss well. but unfortunately orbs are not spirit. they are simply dust.
if a spirit could show themselves why would they show themselves as a glowing sphere that can only be seen on camera?

hi lilly lover, i also have a very similar photo, my son took a photo of my 3 year old daughter, and when we looked at the photo we noticed a large orb next to my daughters face, when we zoomed in we could clearly see my mothers face in this picture, i sent off the photo to a clairvoyant, and she confirmed this as my mother, and that i had 3 or 4 spirits in my home looking over my daughter, she went into alot of detail, which freaked me out abit.

to me they look like dust particles, i have herd that dust will have a bright ring around it in some cases, but could be wrong

I am so sorry to hear about you loss,

I have looked at this picture very carfully and i believe these orbs are dust particals. Zooming a photo really didnt reveal that much to be honest and nothing that i would say was spirit or other phenomena.

Firstly lillylover, may I offer my condolonces, so sorry for your loss.

I also have zoomed in on the most prominent "orb", (there are a few faint ones as well) and don't see any image, so in my opinion specks of dust or whatever the camera has reflected.

I have a few photos myself with what looks like orbs on and when I zoom in on them just see circles of colours. I once read that orbs are not spirits themselves but energy they've drawn from strong electrical appliances or batteries to manifest, don't know if this is true. Though I have seen pictures of orbs with images in.

It's just dust like every single orb ever shown in this forum I if I wanted could easily have a million orbs on my camera by throwing the dust on the lens I won't do it. There is a lot of dust in the air it is no surprise that we share our air with a lot of particles in fact if you use a strong torch you can sometimes see the dust particles in a dark room. Any dust near the lens can cause this orb effect and especially if there is high humidity the likelihood of Orb's is even greater. It is estimated that 90% of orbs can be explained by the dust explanation the rest are likely from camera disfunction.
