I moved into my house 4yrs ago. The last two years there have been strange things happening. It started in October 2004. I noticed strange footsteps but soon shrugged them off thinking there was probably an explanation for them. My sixteen year old son, Michael slept in the only bedroom that was downstairs while myself and his little sis have our bedrooms upstairs. I would wake up in the morn with michael sleeping on my bedroom floor. He at first heard strange noises then he seen shadows moving across the room. He came running from his room one day because his plug flew from the wall. yet again I put it down to electrical faults. Hes felt something brushing him too.

I have been with my partner Mike for a year now and he moved in with me in April. At first Mike couldnt sleep with the noise of someone moving about up and down stairs. Always checking but nothing there. He would always say "Did u hear that?" I was just used to hearing them.

4 months ago, Mike was sitting at the computer which is beside Michaels bedroom door and he jumped up with a pain. He lifted his shirt and there was a deep scratch on his stomach. There was no sharp instrunts about and there was no possible explanation for this. The computer always acts up for him but no one else in the family. I am also catching shadows out the corner of my eye and put it down to my imagination.

We were lying in our bed 2 weeks ago watching telly. I lie nearest the doorway and I seen a flowing shadow going in to my daughters bedroom. Mikejumped up and shouted he saw it too.
For once I was completely freaked out. I had to sleep on other side of the bed.

Everything was forgotten and then 2 days ago mike was sitting on the computer chair again holding a peice of drawing papr in his lap. The paper hit him in the eye and took out a chunk from his cornea. He is in complete agony and has been attending hospital. He cannot explain how the paper hit his eye from the angle he was holding it on his lap but knows even if he tried to do it himself it would be impossible.

At first I thought it was just a mischivious ghost of some kind but now I am starting to get very worried with this thing assaulting my partner. It is no longer mischivious but evil. I wonder if it is the shadow that has always been with me that I have always seen from the corner of my eye since or is it something that was already in house. Will it assualt my partner again? Has it something against males?

I didn't acuse anybody of doing anything at all, I asked if it were possible that there was something in the past that could have happened. If that is an accusation and is seen as offensive I apologise. I have always been taught to say what I think, and I said that in a way that I do not believe was, as you say, extremely offensive. Let's hope you're right.

It must have been very scary for you. A lot of haunting activities can be traced back to teenagers in the house. And if I understand it right you do have teenage children. The energies of hormonal changes of teenagerscanbe very strong, sometimes to the point that they litterally affect the surroundings they are in. By moving objects and creating black shadows of strong, un-expressed emotions/feelings. It is possible that the teenager themselves are not even aware they are harboring these strong emotions. And since it is in their unconscious it manifests itself through psychic phenomena or *haunting* Before considering an entity you might also consider these things. It could be an experience that build up a strong emotion towards males. Maybe resentment? There are some more possibilities outside an entity that you could consider. Strong emotional happenings leave an imprint in time. It could be something with the house and it might be worth looking into the history of the house.

Anyway, I hope this might be a bit of help to you.

I agree with the above reply/advice re the possibility that maybe there is something in your house which is a "mischievious" force...feeding perhaps through your children's development as they are growing up....it does seem that children can be the "Conduit" for such things....through no fault of their's or any actions on their part...

and possibly now your household has grown with the addition of your boyfriend or partner...this has perhaps caused the "mischievious" forces to now become more sinister....?

the "scratching" of the man of the house has distinct similarities to the "Heartland Ghost" in America where a totally unsuspecting....and quite innocent guy was "attacked" and scratched (quite badly on occasions) on a regular basis....

they thought that these "attacks" were by the spirit of a little girl named Sally....but later it turned out to be an adult spirit "hiding" behind young Sally....

this case was investigated at the time by a TV show named "Sightings"...who once actually "filmed" the scratches "appearing" on the poor guy's arms and back...to the amazement of the well known psychic investigator watching....(the same guy who had investigated the famous "Entity" case in America).
and this "Heartland Ghost" case was featued later in a TV series called "A Haunting" (currently being shown on the UK cable channel "Discovery Civilisation" each night at 11p.m.).

I would suggest you check into the history of your home....it is most odd that you had 2 years of no problems to start with...

I would advise you and your boyfriend to be careful...and seek help from experienced mediums or psychic investigators if the problems continue....

Accept things are happening (keep a record), and don't be afraid to ask for help from trained people....who can help you....you are NOT alone !

A house can be haunted without incident for years and then something will trigger them to come out. It's obviously causing you physical harm. Can you move?

An important thing to remember is that you are the living and they are not.

I do believe your house is haunted but by what? Just a michevious spirit or an entity. Mischevious spirits do have the ability to touch and injure an individual, if they can draw upon enough energy. Your teenage children being one source. I hope that it is not an entity. Whatever it is it does not like Mike for sure and that could be for a number of reasons. The suggestion to research the history of your house is a great idea and the best place for you to start.

My house is haunted by spirits and demons. Every night I pray for God, Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to surround my home and my family with a beautiful white light that all can see. The power of the white light and my love and trust in my faith is my way to tell unwanted spirits and demons that there attention is not appreciated. I have also placed crosses of palm on all my doorways from palms I recieved from church on Palm Sunday and palms from my own tree. Every time I placed a cross of palm on a doorway I said a prayer asking for protection from bad spirits.

I'm not sure if this will work for you but it keeps me strong and my mother knows that if it wasn't for my faith and my strength that things in my house would be real bad. I believe they feed on the negative energy they create by causing worry and upset.

So have I! I put amulets up in my apartment! My apartment right now is ok, I think. I'm doing it as a precaution as I've grown up in haunted houses and I'm quite used to them but I'd rather they didn't come find me in my new studio!

I'm sure I've had demons in my house before, they're evil things and they just don't feel right and they give you nightmares and you wake up in the middle of the night with a very uneasy feeling I can't explain. But it's only when I've been living with my sister, her energy attracts a lot of spirits, ghosts, etc.....

first i would like to explain the difference between ghosts and spirit
ghosts are imprints of who we once were,like a photograph or a foot print or like dust.
they do not communicate nor can they harm or haunt anyone.
spirit are the true essence of who we are,unconditional love,
i am sorry but too much hocus pocus stories and hooror movies and television twists and courruots the mind as to what is truth about spirit,
there are rational and reasonable explainations to all strange things that happen,not necessarly demons.
or hauntings so to say.or entities working through yor children.
i think what is happening here is you are feeding false fear into somethign that isnt spirit.
when we have fear in these situations our minds cazn create situations that are very real or seem to be,
one can never underestemate what the mind can actually do and create.
especially if yo are fearful or not understandign of what is truely happening.i think too many people take advantage of people and fill their heads with these ideas that they become a false reality to what is happening.

The activity in my two houses were felt by other family members, not just me. In fact, the next morning we would get up and talk about the strange "occurrence" the night before.
