lots of them "spiritual" tv shows nowadays,and for me that live outside uk and not used to seein such shows ,i was in the beginning,kinda fascinated ,but i have come to realise that they only scare ppl and contribute to further misconseption about the spirit world,and they dont do the profession of mediums any favours...i dont see why the presentors and mediums in them shows keep insisting on evil spirits and horrible things,for any other reason than ratings and money.So its only television ppl and should be treated as such...if u ask me we be better off watching an old rerun of eastenders

I used to like it, it got me interested in things about Mediumship and the spirit world. Now I am not sure if it can mostly be taken with a pinch of salt.

I dont have much experience to go on at the moment apart from my gut instinct.

And a lot telts me it is acting.

Its a shame that television companies insist on running shows like most haunted.
All they do is make a mockery of a very serious subject and give gullible people totally the wrong idea about spiritualism.
It is because ofshows like most haunted and the rest of them that we get people entering our chat site with some very weird ideas about the spirit world.
Many enter our site believing that spirit can possess our bodies and terrified it could happen to them or in somecases already has happened.
It is often a marathon task to persuade these people that spirit cannot possess bodies.
Bring back sit coms and comedy shows.

I actually still like the programme - I think that it has moved to a new level!

In the first 3 series if they had picked up on the tappings we now hear every show, I think that we would again be at a different level and hearing clear voices from the grave!! roll on 2009! :lol:

I also went to see Derik In Herfordshire and thaught he was good.
And i dont believe people could be possesed, but maybe he truly believes he is possesed.He was very acurate tonight and i left fealing non the wiser, just what i already believed in. I didnt know Derik had left most haunted cos i see repeats on FTN and he was on it last night. Maybe cos hes left that show hes doing lotsa live shows at the moment.

I have been yo loads of clairvoyance nights and i have not once had some one come through(im getting frustrated)

With the absence of Derek I realized the shows allure was primarily built around him. That's not to say That David Wells is not a good medium on the show, because he IS a good addition too, but it's just not the same without Derek. What I don't understand is why Yvette brought on the paranormal psychologist(can't recall his name off the top of my head) purposely only for that individual to attack, set up and defame Derek in front of the Most Haunted's World Wide Audience. That seriously shamed Derek when he was on top and MADE that show. What a slap in the face. I was a committed fan of that show and now I've lost all interest in it altogether.
