Being the anniversary of the moon landing and all, I thought I'd just re-stoke the fires on this old but popular thread with some questions you may wish to make comment on ...

1. How, when there is no atmosphere on the moon, which means no wind, is it that we see a flag quite distinctly fluttering on footage of the Apollo 11 moon landing?

2. How is it when the sun (light source) is in one spot, that we have images showing shadow falling in different directions in the same image?

3. Why when other parts of the still images are in shadow, is the US flag always shown brightly lit?

4. How, when it is said (by NASA's own physicist - John Mauldin) we would need a 2 meter thick shielding to protect us from the radiation beyond the Van Allen belt (which the moon is past) did astronauts show no sign of after effects despite having shielding little more than the thickness of aluminum foil? There were almost 1,500 radiation bursts during Apollo 11's mission, .. so how does this add up?

NB: (I believe Jack Swaggert (Apollo 13) to be an exception and who died of cancer I think only a couple of years after said mission - pro conspiracy sites claim none died of cancer - but I think I am actually right on the Jack Swaggert thing regardless)

5. There is a pic, angling upwards, showing Armstrong descending down the limb ladder and about to be the first man to step on to the moon. So who took the picture from below him?

(Remebering the footage on the onboard camrea's is poor quality, and these still photo's are excellent quality, this image did not come from an onboard film camera - even one theoretically strapped to the ladder. Pic's show no camera strapped to the ladder anyway, ...hmm)

6. A film panned upwards showing Apollo 16's Lunar Module leaving the moon, ... so who got left behind to film it?

7. Two men walked on the moon in Apollo 12, yet we have a still shot of one astronaut, and reflecting in his visor is the second astronaut - with no camera in sight?

Amazed to see this one is still going! I agree with Rendon I'm afraid SQ, a little rude perhaps but the facts are there.....
The laser reflector that Apollo 11 left on the moon is still working (basically an array of 'cat's eyes'), and enables the exact distance of the moon to be measured almost every day.

In theory it will not be quite as easy to get to the moon as it was in1969, as it has moved nearly a foot fuerher away... but I daresay rgar problem could be overcome with new technology? The fact is, there isn't much point going to the moon - not now we've got some rock samples. Very expensive, and v.v.v. dangerous as Apollo 13 showed. The risks were far greater than NASA let on, and any foul ups would have proved fatal to their funding, prestige and reputation for sure.... many great sighs of relief were heard when the Apollo missions were premarurely finished, without losing anyone on the moon.

As I've said before, the sheer scale of the project (hundreds of thousands of people involved) makes it all but impossible such a secret would be possible to keep, however well organised. The reason astronauts refuse to comment on this matter is that such questions are an insult to their intelligence as well as their integrity and honesty, which they probably view with the contempt they deserve IMO.

Having a different opinion is one thing - being utterly ridiculous is another. Sorry....

dont think moon landing was a fake. to many people where involved to if it`s fake they would have hard time to keep it quiet

I think it was faked as i think it was filmed in the nevada Desert, as it shows wind fluttering the flag, and you would be able to see the stars and it doesn't.
