This always winds me up some times, why do people insist in thinking that if the camera shots are fuzzy or not sharp and focussed that it would fool us?

Surely we arent that gullable? Arent we?


Here is a story about a place from a town called Antioch in the US, Tennasee I do believe is the state.

With a story saying that they took these pictures when nothing was there. Remember this it is important.


Lets look at the first picture...





Wow you think, this even got picture of the month at the site I got it from, but wait......

Does it have feet, with a shadow??? Yes it does, thats strange.

And look at where the head is supposed to be, is that a washed out Alien head or something?? Yes it has been touched up a bit with some picture editing program. This is important this part too.

But wait are we being too hasty, perhaps this is a true picture. But hark.

Oh but didnt you say you didnt see anything when taking the pictures. Now thats clever!




Washed out effect using program on the supposed girl. But hark is that the black figure in the background with shoes on looking a different way? By jings it is!

Ok this is NOT a black mass.


Look closer, around the supposed black mash is something pinkish.....Ahhhhh its a hand! Holding something black and round, like socks perhaps.

Now to Black Ectoplasm (or black mists).

here are 2 examples of "what where you thinking" pictures.





You might think wow thats bizzare.

Whats more scary is the blurred out face, eeek creepy (but that was intentional).

But look at where the black area is more prominent. The leg and foot and stone turn inwards slightly. Have you got it?

The picture has been physically bent, pinched if you may slightly so that when it was scanned it would be dark there.

People when taking pictures and saying there was a black mass, please do check that no TV's or Speakers are on the well casting the shadow, thank you ^^ hehehe

spooky images are very easy to fake. what with everything on t'internet being passed thro' the bowels of a computer at some stage, image manipulation is scarily easy. photoshop is a very powerful tool. i wouldn't trust any image i saw to be the genuine article.

(see also "most haunted ghost" and "see through phantom" threads, tho' i probably should've posted them here! perhaps chp will move them if he sees fit?)

I dont hav a pic to post, but thought i would tell u about my "spooky pictures!"
I took quite a few over a period of time, all of my baby daughter as she grew. They looked very similar to the baby picture featured here. I just couldnt figure out what the bizarre spirals of light could be...then i figured it out :idea: - i used to wear a tiny silver bracelet on my left wrist, and every time i took a photo it would swing in front of the lens without me realising! Made some very impressive fake vortex effects tho!! :wink:
