The love you will receive in the spirit world is greater than anything you can even imagine whilst here in the physical. How can that be depressing? And it is absolutely possible to be closest to one person also. I firmly believe that we find exactly what we are looking for when we go 'home' because it is a world of our own making. We think it into existence. God does not know cruelty and therefore denies us nothing. Nobody was suggesting that you are to be denied the love you crave. It is just, I think, that whilst we are physical we can get a little hung up on physical love. There are lots of books which explain about the 'merging' of energy between 2 spirits and as has been explained, this is better than physical merging in a sexual relationship. Might I suggest the books that I pointed out to Bluefairy? They really do give you a great insight into this world and the next.

To add to what Amp has so wisely said, ....

I can assure you Verity, that whilst we may feel great love for our family and friends here, the love felt in spirit and with our spiritual faculties is experienced in a manner that does not compare to that of being in a clique of friends. It is far more tangible and is not something that only wells up from within you, but something that surrounds you and permeates through you.

When conscious in the spirit realms (obe's) I can feel it like a living pulsing all pervading energy and you get this absolutely clear sense of being one with the boundless number of souls from which this feeling is coming. It is like the greatest love here magnified infinitesimally.

As mediums we can also experience the love that can pass through us when our guides draw close to us, when we allow healing energy to pass through us, or from peoples loved one's in spirit when we are giving info, ... and at times even when filtering through our physical being in a more diluted sense than what we feel when we are pure spirit, it can be difficult for a medium to not burst in to tears it can be so overwhelming. At times when reading for people I have not just felt love for them but felt like I was 'in love' with them. I know straight away if this happens that I have their romantic partner with me because the 'in love' as opposed to general love feeling only comes (to me anyway) from that type of bond. I also know I have not suddenly 'fallen in love' with the sitter, and I know the feeling will lift once the reading finishes, because I know whilst I am linked to their loved one in spirit, I am feeling whatever the spirit is feeling towards the sitter, ... but it really does feel like it is my own feelings until the link is broken. So rest assured, love of that kind does still exist in spirit. When your in spirit tho, and you feel that connectivity to everyone else, try to imagine that your not just feeling love to and from one spirit, you also feel all the love they are all giving and receiving between each other, and you feel it all as if it your own - just like a medium can when linking from here.

So you can have an individual with whom there is a particular bond, whom you may choose to hang out with, whom you might have a particular mental closeness with, and who you can share a romantic love with, ... but your also both bonded to everyone else, so the love you share between you, just gets added to the great big pool of it and you can experience it back in a much more powerful and collective way.

So don't cry, you can give and receive love on a one on one romantic level, ... but when you have that intent to express love to another, more love than you can imagine is going to pour through you and out of you coz the exchange is intensified by all the love floating around up there.

As for getting it on, ... the appeal of that is usually highly dependant on the mental and emotional bond between the people doing it, and that bond can still be present, it's just that any merging going on there will be of a different manner and any sensation of pleasure will be experienced on another level or in another form. No reason to think it is going to be a lesser act, ... just a different union, ... and one I guess we can't knock until we try it ... lol

Please believe in everything these good people here are telling you. I am not a medium as such but have had fantastic dreams of spirit where I have awoken feeling love like I have never felt before.
It is overwhelming! It cannot be explained in words,just felt.

I am not a psychic,but being convinced from my own experience that every person has a special soul mate(some meet theirs in this world,others in the next)I believe that if you haven?t found true love/your soul mate in this life,he will be waiting for you in the next.I believe in reincarnation and what you miss in this life may very well be yours in the next.To me heaven is a place where you rest between your lives,but I must add that it is my personal belief.
Still I am convinced that everyone has a soul mate.You have one too that you will eventually find.

Emma's posts may have been few, but it was plenty enough to see her beautiful soul shining out from them.

I am so very pleased Emma found joy here, that we were able to offer her comfort, and hope that in turn has been a comfort to you too. What an extra special mum you must be that she chose you to share her journey with.

One of god's shining stars has gone home, but Emma will only ever be a thought and a flap of her fairy wings away from your heart.

I wish you and your family peace and love and will keep you in my prayers.

I have just read your post and may I say how sorry I am in Emma's passing. She was such a delightful girl and was not afraid to voice her thoughts.
