Default Hi. Im new here and lm feeling very suicidal..

Hi. Im new here and lm feeling very suicidal..

Hi all, lm new here and l have taken the courage to say that l have been feeling suicidal for quite a long time... l have been depressed, lonely, isolated, rejected, confused, abused with addiction problems etc.. lve had relationship difficulties with so many people. l have NO freinds or family or professional that l could to talk about wanting to "give up" within the next 2 weeks, without the threat of been put in an assulym! l already have a suicide plan in place.

l go down to the beach at midnite to cry out my heart at the bright stars above me.. Then recently l walked back and l felt some sort of "calming type love" inside me... But lm still by myself and in so much immense pain, but lm really curious as to what happens to souls like me who commit suicide... lm getting so much confusing and conflicting answers here in the forums... Whatever ur answers are l hope the are reassuring rather than full of fear!!! lm also NOT a young man anymore, as lm 48 years old. With my death coming soon lve been going to bookshops reading a lot about afterlife and spirituality. l used to educated with fear about HELL and coming back with same suicidal condition. Gees (l laughed) if l came back in this same condition in recarnation, gees, l will hold the world record for the most times a person who continues to suicide for eternity/forever and ever..

Please help with my questions

yours sincerly , Mick from down under (yeh l wonder if will go down under)

Hi golonely,

Please see your doctor as soon as possible if you are feeling like this. Unfortunately this is only a forum and we are not qualified to give you the help that you clearly need. Consider the fact that we are here for a reason and need to experience life in all its ups and downs. But SEEK HELP from the professionals.

Hi Mick,
Firstly welcome to the forum, you would be suprised at how many people come here feeling exactly the same way as you do and after talking about their problems with others here on the forum and in the chat room they realise they are not alone.

My brother took his own life 15 years ago, he felt lonely, depressed and isolated just like you, sadly he never realised how many people really loved him and miss him everyday, suicide is never the answer, it leaves so much guilt and pain for those left behind, you may feel like no one cares but believe me they do .......... I do !!

You said you have no professional you can talk to without the fear of being put in an assulym, That wont happen Mick, please go and see a doctor, they will listen to how your feeling and put you on some medication that will help with the depression, they will also find you someone who you can talk to long term about how your feeling and also with your addiction problem.

I would imagine that calming feeling you said you felt when you was on the beach that night was probably a loved one in spirit drawing close to you, letting you know they are there when you most need them, we are NEVER really alone!!

I came here feeling very low and have made some great friends who are always there when I need them, every problem you have Mick you can be sure there are dozens here who have faced the same and worse and by talking to them you realise your life isn't so bad after all.

I don't believe taking your own life is what you really want to do Mick, you found the courage to come here and tell us about how your feeling and I believe that is because you want help to face the difficulties you have in life, find a little more courage and please go and see a doctor, if you can't face explaining to a doctor about how your feeling then write it all down and take it with you, hand him the paper and let him read it instead.

Goodluck Mick
Blessings
Jacky xx

You need to see a doctor about this instead of an online community! You may be depressed but a doctor can help you I know from first hand as someone close to me had an severe anxiety problem which started to affect not only his mental health but also his physical health. He went to the doctor and the doctor referred him to someone he could talk to about his problems etc. So to sum it up talk to your gp

Default Thank you all

Gees thanx all for your replies as really appreciated all your advice and experience... l want to apologise for being to upfront in this forum as l didn't know where else l could communicate to... l will try to see a gp but l really don't like the idea of taking medicated drugs as l know that it will only mask the chronic problem... l will come back here and keep reading in the meanwhile and will try my best to turn my life around, which l know is not going to be that easy...(but l have a sense that there is a loving higher power above me watching me as Jacky said..) yours truly Mick

Hi Mick,

Really sorry to hear how your life is feeling worthless to you.

May i just say even though it feels that way now with help and support you will find over time things look much better.

There are help lines you could call to help you with this. The medication (if any is given) will be a short term solution while counselling will help you through these issues and help you to see things in a different way.

In the mean time I will send you healing thoughts and wish you all the best as you get the appropriate treatment and coumnselling to help you move forward.

love and light

So glad Mick that you are considering seeing your GP. Anti depressants can help in the short term, but your GP may offer something else. You have to remember that he/she will have been consulted by many people in your position. It may be e new problem for yourself but not for him/her. Good luck!

Generally you get a choice in regards to medication your not forced to take it. So don't worry about it Gp's etc they are obliged to follow your wishes. What you will get is someone to talk to about your problems and hopefully help you get through them
