Yea, you've been had. Sorry to say. There is nobody in this world, psychic medium or not that can create such a change within someone for money!
People need to be careful these days because it seems that everyone and anyone calls themselves a psychic or medium, the term is loosely used and in my opinion that's sad. You will know they are legit because first of all, you should be able to ask certain questions about the psychic or medium before hand to be comfortable. They should offer one set price, not change it or up it. If they are proud with what they do, then they will probably have a business license. They should never say they'll predict death, who the heck does that? Why would they say that anyways, what good would knowing that information be...we should live our lives to the best of our ability like it's our last.
Lastly, the information that comes through within the first 10 min will tell you that they are legit. If there is no validating information within that time, or no connection at all, then you should be able to get your money back...

I had to contact her in a few days to get an update. In those few days, the crystal changed colour! it went black in places.

When I rang back she said the Crystal was capturing the spirits and that the issue was alot worse than she initially suspected. To get rid of the spirits it would cost 2,500 dollars! I think I'm been had, what do you think? Can you help please because in fairness, I think there may be an issue alright but do not have this kind of money and my belief is based on this crystal colour change - but this might be something that happends all the time- I dont know! Also the charge seems exorborent ops: I'm also not sure if I believe in the whole psychic thing, especiallty when she tells me shes treating me like a family member...

Rest assured psychicism spirits the non phisical ect are all very real. Seeing is believeing at the end of the day. There are obviously alot of scams as well, like in anything, you might get an email saying some innocent man is being persecuted in zimbabway and it's a scam to get money out of you, that of corse doesn't mean that innocent men do not get persecuted.
What you said definetly sounds very strange and she is most probably fradulant. I would get the crystal identified and find out exactly what it is you'll probably find it's suposed to turn that colour somehow. I'm not saying that the method she uses isn't used by anyone and is'nt a real effective method as I simply don't know but there are far more efficiant ways of doing it, and what shes saying sounds odd.

Get clued up and look for help else where would be my advice.

I don't know what to make of it all after reading these. Maybe she does have abillity but is ripping you off.

What did she say the purpose of the leaf ritual was? I have heard of simlar things but using fire rather than water to transform old parts of the self that you no longer want or need.

Default Am i being fleeced?

Hiya Ruby Ring- This woman is talking Tripe! Don't listen to another word, it's all piffle. This is the reason I don't charge for readings- would rather read for free than be tarred with the same brush as this blood-sucker. If you do have negativity around you, it will be of your own creation; if you've created it you can rid yourself of it. Even if bad things have happened to you it'll be self-fulfilling prophecy- you think there's a black cloud over you because you believe what this callous & deeply unethical woman has told you. Didn't you hear alarm bells when she asked you not to tell anyone? As for making depressing 'prophecies'- no such thing. Don't misunderstand me, predictions made CAN come true, but only if you want them to. It's all down to free will. For example: if i turn over someones cards & things aren't looking good for them, I'll warn them of these problems arising& point out the fact that this is only the path they're on AT THE MOMENT- they can walk down another path at any time & as such, change their fates. When i predict a negative event I call it a warning because that is what it is. Forewarned is forearmed & nothing is fixed. Rather than feeling powerless and depressed at what the future MAY (& i stress the word 'may')hold, they feel empowered & in control of their own destiny, which they are. Now, these rituals she's having you do- these don't immediately jump out at me as familiar to wicca;but I'm not 100% on that. In any case, these rituals and others like them can be learned by you at home- just buy a book of spells & cut out the middle-man  I would recommend the books of Cassandra Eason as a good place to start. Maybe you could also invest in some tarot cards- these are brilliant for focusing wishes & as every card highlights a human emotion, situation or state of mind, they can be used from a psychological angle. When i read i would describe myself more of a counsellor than a seer & i think my no-nonsense attitude (& the fact i only ask for a packet of fags, lol), my accuracy & my honesty if i'm stumped brings my friends, family & acquaintances & their friends back time & time again. This woman is no better than a vampire- feeding on your fear; Hit back by studying this yourself- she DID SAY you have psychic ability, after all! This comment was the only one that rang true- we are ALL capable of intuition- the fact you're questioning this woman is testament to that- subconciously you know she's a liar. One last point- you say she got lots of other stuff right- this is easier than you think & it's called cold-reading & lucky guessing & generalisation. It's people like this that give genuine psychics& mediums a bad name & was precisely the reason for the fraudulent mediums act. I'm really sorry this leech took you for so much money& i hope you've now seen her for what she is- a money-grabbing charlatan. Don't feel too bad though, you're not the first & unfortunately i doubt you'll be the last.

Lightbulb Me too

Hello, I also have been wondering about the Psychic I've been going to. I do not know how real she is, but some seems real, and I am also unsure whether or not she is trying to scam me. Origionaly I came in for a $40 reading and she told me I have a lot of negative energy around me and that it comes from family and money. It would cost $200 to do work on getting rid of it. I've paid that and we have been working on it and I do feel some of what she says is true, and my stomach feels wierd a lot. She had me put money under my mattress to obsorb the negativity and then she meditated on the money. She wants me to put more money under the mattress and I'm thinking she will want to meditate with that too. It is ok if she does this in front of me, but I don't want her to borrow the second amount of money. SHe did a grapefruit thing where there was a gross thing outside and inside the grapefruit. I did some research and other psychics have done a grapfruit con with snakes and hairs. What do you guys think?

Dejavuonly,
Well to be honest .. the aspect of someone having negative energy about money in this bad economy is really a shot in the dark. Meaning it would be hard to find someone now a days not having some finical difficulties. However, how we react with this is what a psychic is reading. So she felt you had negative energy about money. Now only person I feel that can or should meditate about this is you. I do not see any use in a psychic mediating on someone else money, nor placing it under someones mattress.

A person can mediated on an object with that object not present. - so giving her money to borrow to mediate on makes no sense to me.

Now a grapefruit I have never ever heard anyone using it as a necessary for a reading. Only time i every used one was when i was eating one lol

Now with you not feel well or werid in the stomach - this could be three things ..
one - self full filled prophecy - meaning if someone said your going get freckle on your nose -next minute you think you see one.
Two - maybe it is your own instinct gut feeling - feeling that the psychic is not legit
Three - check to see the doctor maybe there is a reason for you feeling ill in the stomach

All in all i do think you should seek second psychic more reputable one - try your local spiritualist church

Hope that helped xx

Unhappy getting fleeced

Oh dear, I've heard these stories hundreds of times, and my stomach still turns every time I hear one. First, I'm sorry that someone you trusted as a reputable psychic misled you. It's those type of psychics that give the psychic community in general a bad reputation.

If need be, there are a couple of ways you can find a reputable psychic. If you are not comfortable with visiting a Spiritualist Church, you can simply use word of mouth. Ask your friends, co-workers, or relatives if they have visited a psychic and what their experiences were. Keep an open inquisitive mind while listening to their experiences to see if their psychic sounds legit. Any psychic asking for "more" money to do away with negative energies, or anything else for that matter "probably" isn't legit! Also, there are books printed on what to expect from a psychic read. If you can get to the library here on the site, I believe there's one listed.

I hope this helps. Good luck to you. xxx
