a few years ago i saw my daughters body transform completely in front of my eyes into my late husband, who had passed into the afterlife a few years beforehand. has anybody else experienced this.

first i would like to say hello I am new here...ok I have never experienced them but i have talked to some who have....I would like to know more about the scenerio....did your late husband talk???or do anything to make you feel like he wanted to tell you something.....does your daughter remember anything?
last question when your husband appeared did he look like he did in later years or from a younger time?????

This happens to me, but I didn't know what it was called until I just read it here. Ever since my brother died, if I think of him and look in the mirror, his face replaces mine. At first, since we were both young, I thought maybe I was seeing this because we sort of resembled each other. But now I am 25 years older and it still happens, only his face is still 12. He'll also smile at me. It's like his face is floating around inside the perimeters of mine.

Another time, a family friend who was really like a father to me died suddenly. I was in a drug store, a long distance from where we lived, a few weeks later. I was still in shock as we were very close. I was at the end of an aisle near the pharmacy, thinking about how I was going to get through everything that happened to be going on without him and I was really missing him. I got this feeling that he was near me and I looked over to the line of people waiting at the pharmacy window. There was a man in the line staring back at me--looking right into me--with my "dad's" face. I couldn't help but stare back at him and he kept staring steadily at me. I got a strong feeling from him that everything would be fine--a feeling of complete calm. Then the guy turned back toward the window and looked completely different. He seemed unaware of what just happened.

This also happened recently with another person I knew who has been dead a while. For over a year now, he has been coming to me in dreams at least once a night (that I can remember). I was driving on a busy street and noticed a Mini Cooper coming up behind me in the lane next to me. Mini Coopers always grab my attention because I really want one, and this guy was driving like a maniac (exactly how the guy in my dreams drove). The driver pulled up next to me and I looked over at him as he passed. The face of the guy I'd been dreaming about was smiling back at me. If I didn't know he was dead, I would have been 100% sure it was him. He passed me and we both had to stop for a light. Unfortunately, he was a few cars ahead of me in the other lane. I kept watching him and he kept smiling back in his side mirror and laughing. The light changed quickly and he stuck his hand out of the sun roof and waved back at me. I would have followed when he turned, only I knew I was just seeing his face on someone else.

Sue thats clairvoyance rather than transfiguration

Transfiguration is produced by physical mediumship and wen it happens everyone in the room sees it at the same time. It usually takes the form of a mask over the mediums face and everyone sees the spirit person transfiguring thru the mask.

It was a beautiful experience you had and I know this happens to many people and it is an indication that you have strong psychic abilities which can be developed further if you wish

I don't know if this is the same, but sometimes I can feel my best friend (who is still alive and lives in a different country than me) close beside me, and I see him in other people. I feel that he tries to contact me.
We are very close, like brother and sister, and we both have psychic abilities. Is this possible? Is this our way of communicating in spirit way to let eachother know we're OK?

Hi,
Whilst sitting in a development circle I often saw the faces of other people appear over the top of other people's. On occasion several people would see and describe similar things to wot i could see, and on other occasions we would all see something different. Once i described a face which appeared over the medium's usual face and he told me it was his spirit guide and he rarely showed himself, so i was extremely privileged to hav seen him! Would that hav been transfiguration :?:

That again is clairvoyance, you are seeing a spirit face overshadowing that of a person. For it to be transfiguration everyone in the room has to see the same face at exactly the same time. It is more objective clairvoyance than subjective which is good and shows your development is progressing.

I am in the States. I was heading out on a 8 hour drive from Las Vegas, NV to New Mexico, my homeland. I left at midnight and headed into Arizona. After I crossed the dam and went through the mountains it was close to 2:00 a.m. At the foothills of the mountain, it was full moon out.

I drove on a freeway, one going in my direction and the other road toward in my opposite direction, so there is a median in between with <I think> a canal. Anyway there are weeds and bushes between both traffic.

There was a man standing with his hand out to me as if to say "Come with me" or "Come to me" He was wearing a pure white gown, he looked hispanic with clean cut, and his beard and mustache immaculate clean. He's dark eye's were sparkling. When I drove by him, I was going 75 mph, and when we made eye contact it seemed like it was a very slow motion. When I went by, I looked in the review mirror and I didn't see him. I looked again on the mirror outside, and I didn't see him. I really thought about pulling over and ask if he needed help. But, I didn't think that would be a good idea.

When I got to the nearest gas station, I waited for someone to pull up that had came that same way as I. When someone did show up, I asked them if they had seen the man. They said no. Another family came up, again I asked, and they said no.

Some people said it was probably my imagination getting wild with me, or sleepy business, etc. etc. But I still remember him as if I just seen him yesterday. It is so vivid. :roll:

Hi all,

I am posting this as I feel at a cross roads in my life and I am seeking answers. My experience with transfiguration was on a week end retreat. It's a very long story but a brief synapse is. That at first I did not see anything. We were told to look at the leader a self professed Shaman...He was sitting on a chair and behing him was a white sheet hanging on a large board. Myself and my sister where sitting side by side. So they decided to separate us. This did the trick but I immediately started to cry not sob sob but my face was wet..soaking wet ...weird. So the next step was to try this excerise for 15 mins. I did it I stared at the figure of the leader sitting on the chair the room in complete darkness lest a little light on the subject. What transpired scared the be jaysus out of me. This is going to sound crazy but I seen all his guides about 12 - 16 of them it was eight years ago so the memories are not as sharp. However I did see one extra at the end of each cycle of the images of different guides there was one whom seemed to be gesturing for me to come forth but he really frightened me he seemed to have horns I kid you not, even getting the shakes now at this memory I could draw this figure. I had what I think was a panic attack as every time I looked away and then look back the cycle would begin and I would see all these lovely guides women men children....but the guy was always at the end beckonin me....Anyways trying to keep the story short...sorry.. Two women followed me into the toilet one whom had on the course as the Shaman had asked her to join his practice she is a medium/ sees angels always has done since she was small and her friend. Anyways they tried to calm me down I just could'nt understand what I was feeling. They kept on saying we know we seen it too. There was 28 people in the room but only three of us seen this same guide????? Eventually I went to sleep and the next morning the two women whom had tried to help me were gone. I have always felt something happened but am unsure as to what....Funnily enough the shaman tried to convince me that It was one of my guides but I think not....anyways hope you can help

If only 3 of 28 saw this face then it was not true transfiguration. Often clairvoyance or what I call ?rubber faces? (energy distorting features) gets mistaken for what can only be accurately termed transfiguration when an ectoplasmic mask is involved which is visible to all. There is also no need to be doing exercises such as staring at people,?staring can play tricks with the eyes, especially in darkened rooms.
