Guardian Angels come to the rescue

Many people believe that angelic beings watch over us and can come to our spiritual - and even physical aid - in times of great need. Can you call on your guardian angel at will?

Do you have any true stories or evidence to support this belief?

I like to believe that we do all have Gaurdian Angels and that they are there to listen when we need them. But I dont think they are going to help every time they're called upon. If it were that easy to solve problems we would leave everything up to our gaurdians and learn no lessons for ourselves at all.
I have a wierd and whacky friend who calls upon her gaurdian angels to help her find a parking spot. :lol:

i think guardian angels are there when you need them.. but obviously they will be there when you really need them not for silly reasons. a few years ago i watched a programe about guardian angels and peoples experinces, in this one case.. this lady had been living on her own for a few weeks because her husband had been away, anyway it was a sunday morning and she had been working outside she always made sure she could see who was coming to the front door. but to her amazement she looked around because she heard banging at her door.. but there was know-one there.. (she was thinging) how "strange" anyway she got back on with what she was doing.. heard the banging a few seconds later. this time she looked round and there was man standing there..he must have been in his 30s with blonde hair.. and what she descibed to be the perfect smile.. any how she went up to this man and said "can i help you" he said im lost my car broke down and iv been walking for miles.. he also had hurt his hand... bearing in mind this lady had little money and was struggling on her own.. she decided to take this man in.. feed him and tried to help him as much as she could.. a week had passed and while she was washing up. this man said i must go now... with in a blink of an eye she looked round and he was gone she rushed out to the door and looked out but he was gone.. this left her wondering how could he have gone so quick... any way a year passed and as usual the post came threw the door... and to her amazment it was a cheque for ?10.000, with this cheque it simply had a not saying thank-you. this check had arrived exactly a year after this man had banged at her door... the strange thing is she got a cheque everyyear on the same date.. untill she passed and it was always with a note saying thank-you.. this lady instantly new it was her guardian angel, she could not explain it any other way... she was amazed because all she had really done was take this man in.. and look after him for a week... she said this would be something that would never leave her memory.
now its hard to explain but i think because she helped this man out when he obviously truely needed it... he new she didnt have to take him in or feed him seeing as she didnt have a lot of money herself... but these are the questions that main unanswerd, why did he leave so quick with in a blink of an eye? and was know-where to be seen? and why did this lady recieve a cheque of ?10.000 each yr and on the same date? there may be some reasonably answers to this.. but as i said... i feel your guardian angel will always be there when truely needed

Yes guides and guardians can be called at will.

My only constructive criticsim would be:
I think it would be of more use to elucidate on the techniques of channelling and trance channelling to teach people how to safely do this, and close down afterwards.

Rather than asking open questions, to which no doubt the administrators and owners of the site already know the answers and techniques involved.

Is a spritual guardian the same as an angel guardian?

no harps a spirit guardian and a guardian angel are different. a spirit guardian can be someone from your family that has passed a guardian angel is self explanitary. Unless of course you mean spirit guide which is totally different altogether. A guide is a teacher only mediums and Healers have guides.
Now i personally dont know if the word Angel is the right word. Angels in all books are seen as having wings etc. If your a higher spirit your aura would be white and very bright. this could be seen as being wings. so unless i see an angel with wings with my own eyes then i would be happy to call them higher spirit.

Anyone in spirit can be called at will - whether they turn up or not is an entirely different matter and completely at the discretion of the spirit(s) involved. I don?t doubt spirits keep tabs on what we are up to, and don't doubt they will step in if a situation requires, for the best of all involved, that they do so. I don't however think it is any spirits purpose - to come running every time someone stubs their toe so to speak. I think too many are too quick to call on spirit for help or healing hoping for a quick fix solution to problems that are either trivial, can be dealt with themselves, or before they have had a chance to learn anything from their adversity. I am sure spirits have better things to do than respond to our every request, and if they didn't someone should be telling them to "get a life".

I honeslty like to believe that we have guardians of some sort. It makes the process of an unpredictable (and potentially dangerous) life more bearable.

I don't believe that angels have 'wings', my understanding is that the common image of a 'being in white with wings' came about through people trying to understand how something with a human like personality could fly. I reckon that these beings we call angels appear to us as we would accept and understand them. Living in a 3d world we need to see these beings, to communicate with them they need to be person like (at least to us, who knows how animals would percive angels) Finally, I believe that the term 'angel' actually means 'messenger of God', so when commune with an angel ultimately it is God talking to us thruogh a medium we can accept and trust. (maybe fear)

Having said all that, I accept the image of angels as beings with wings only because that is how I've learnt to picture them and that is how I get signs from them, in the form of 'angel shape' objects. Still, everytime I get a message it riddles my intellectual mind, it's almost like they play hide-and-seek with us. This is where the question of 'faith' and inner knowing are only able to answer. This, to me, requires my concious descision to either accept or reject their signs as fantasy or reality. I assume they know better and that they talk to us in many ways, all the time, if we are willing to listen. But taking the leap of faith is a personal journey but what have you got to lose? And I belive that if you sincerely wish to know the truth of angels they'll create an answer that you can't reject... totally.

Hi, I'm new here and l'm really looking forward to some thought provking discussions!
I think angels are all around us. Not only do we have a Guardian Angle but many, that can be called upon for help and guidance. Angels come in many forms including a feeling, a smell, a waft of air. Also they can take human form. Many angels can send a message in your dreams. The key to hearing your personal angels come from an open mind. Sometimes the message is subtle like a breeze or scent, other times it is powerful like a stranger telling you something only you could now in a time of need. Be aware of your surroundsing and you will see angels everywhere.
