Default Grave Ghost Picture

I believe it is weathering and this is not an unusual occurrence. It is very clearly a face of a man.

Strange how these things happen. Last year I took several pictures of old graves in Cornwall and one of them very clearly to everyone I've shown it to has three figures on it (to me, others have seen more) they appear to be in Tudor clothes.

My mum lives about 1/2 an hour out of Ispwich and I know she goes there to go shopping and wot not, ...so no guarantee's the cemetary might be huge and she might have trouble finding it, but I am going to ask her to drop in and take a pic next time she is in the area and will try to post it for a comparison. I better not tell her I am sending her on a "ghost hunt" tho, she would freak out ..lol.

I like that picture a lot.
It's possible to fake this sort of thing in a darkroom or using photoshop but this one looks pretty convincing IMHO.

Cheers,

Ian

I've had a real good play with this image in Photoshop and with enhancement and a little imagination I get this.

I'm new to this stuff and I'm quite impressed by what marcos has achieved using photoshop.

I was wondering, however, if more credence was given to a photographic image of a 'ghost' if that ghost closely resembled a biologically alive human being - no matter how archaic the dress.

It just seems that, if a ghost is another form or type of existence, then wouldn't it be 'unlikely' to look so much like ourselves? Is it a presumption or assumption that all ghosts had a previous existences as human beings?

As I said, I'm a newbie - so be kind!

John

That's an idea Little White Rat - I wonder how many other photos that might apply to..

Default Gravestone Picture

Clearly I can see the impression of a nicely dressed man at the top of the grave stone with a jacket and tie and serious expression on his face. Very creepy.
