I have posted a blog on my profile, but didn't know if anyone would actually see it, so have put it on here for discussion, - as I am new and I don't really know my way around this site yet.

Ever felt taller

I don't know about you guys - but have any of you ever felt taller than you actually are at some point??
I've had a few experiences where I will be talking to someone and as you do in conversation, you talk to the person and sometimes your eyes wander and you observe your surroundings then focus back on the person your talking to , then when you go and observe your surroundings your seeing them from a higher angle, like you have grown a couple of feet. You check your feet, yes they are all the way down there somewhere, and you wiggle your toes, yes you can feel the floor beneath them, BUT your still alot taller than normal. You focus back on the person your talking to, and your back to normal size when you observe your surroundings again.
How is that??
Why is that??
What does it mean???
Does anyone have an idea of what I'm talking about?/
Please reply to this blog - if you have any suggestions.

Wild that you bring this up... as this has actually happened to me a couple of times.. however, it was when i was walking. I would all the sudden feel like I am about a foot or so taller then I am.. it felt a long way down to the ground..lol

I have never heard anyone else say this before and thought I was odd for feeling this. I have no, none, zip ziltch, explanation to this at all. Can't even begin to understand it. It's never been a bothersome thing.. just something weird is all.

Being that I am 6 foot, I am already at a taller advantage, but then out of the blue when it feels that i am walking ( and usually it only happens for about a minute or two) that I am yet another foot or so taller.. well, you can imagine I feel rather awkward..lol

I hope others also come in and share if it has happened to them. Someone, somewhere should have an idea of what this is about. ;)

- yes it has happened to me too! Interesting indeed! ..and here I thought I was going NUTS! ;)
..nice to know we all experience the same things..albeit at different times & circumstances!
My only (long) shot at explaining it was that (at the times that it happened to me) I was experiencing a "high" - almost like my aura had "stretched"...somehow I was (for those seconds) "plugged in". ..and the awareness of what was happening, astounded me a little, which brought me back to earth - so to speak! ;)
I must say, that it no longer takes me by surprise, and happens more often now, and I am now able to maintain my "lofty" stance for longer - (which really helps the ol' self -esteem as I am (usually) just over 5' tall!) lol!

I have given it some thought, at first I thought it maybe a spirit guide coming close and you are feeling there size, but since several people are having this experience, I would say, that in the moment of feeling taller, you have been blown wide open and you are feeling your actual spiritual size rather than your physical size, you are feeling the size of your aura blowing open and extending with your consciousness.

I have also recently felt this experience only no-one else was present, my experience was because I have just recently cleared alot of black magic from me and thus I am now my natural self, ie my spirit was allowed to be its natural self again unhampered by the negativity that was holding me back..

Remember, your spirit/soul has to squeeze into your small body and not all of it will incarnate which is why we have our higher selves, only a portion incarnates. our Consciousness is infinite, the more you grow the bigger you get in size.

I too have had this experience and for me it has happened in different ways one is when I am giving a communication from spirit I feel their size by a sense of becoming their size if that make any sense lol. So if they are taller than me I feel taller, the same with shorter or fatter or thinner etc.

Another experience of this is what I believe is termed mind projection for example: when I was young (many many moons ago lol) I was walking down the street on my way to school when all of a sudden I was aware of watching myself walking to school from about 10ft above my body. The moment I realised that I was seeing myself I was bam back to seeing the world normally. This happened to me when I was first becoming aware of my psychic ablities. Perhaps what you are experiencing is something similar and is your mind exploring and attempting to project itself.

I have only recently opened up to events around me that have started me on a psychic path- although everyday something new happens and I have no idea what I am doing or where the path is going- I just keep an open heart and approach everything with love.

About 3 weeks ago I went to get into bed and felt as though I was at least 2 foot taller. I stood in this state for a while absorbing the feeling and enjoying seeing things from a different height (I am only 5ft too). This happened again the next night but I have not experienced it since.
I meditated and aksed my 'inner self' what it could be and I thought it was my own consciousness expanding as I was openeing or becoming more aware of my aura or psychic fields.

I am so glad to hear of others experiencing this too

I experienced a reverse situation recently after a holistic treatment on a client- my client, who is a medium, came to me as they were blocked and were unable to connect to thier guides (following a personal event). After the treatment my client stood up and looked like a genie who had just emerged from a bottle. I could see their normal physical body in front of me but they appeared to fill the whole room- right up to the ceiling and sideways to each wall. I said 'look at you' and they agreed that they had expanded. Also they were no longer blocked.
This confirms my thoughts that this feeling in a released block or an expansion due to growth and development.
