How is a door in the physical world going to be of any relevance to a spirit in the spirit world and to whom the laws of earthly physics do not apply?

If you intend to gather information on such topics, I think you would b e far better off it you stop reading myth with no logical basis to it and start doing some proper study. Classes on this site would be a good starting point.

funny. we have had things similar to this happen at this creepy house. doorbells ring and we have answered it fast enough to catch whoever was there....not a soul in sight on the entire block. we have heard doors open/close as well...with no one there. i constantly get asked by my dad "hey were u in the garage just now?" and it scares me to say "No..." gives me the chills but it seems harmless....simply activity is all. If you can live with those small things, good.

Try installing a camera though....but thats a lot of recording to cover.

On my first birthday after the death of my son, I was at home feeling just overwhelmed with grief. He had never missed my birthday; had always come to visit me. All of a sudden my doorbell rang and remained ringing as if someone were leaning on the bell. I went to the door and no one was in sight. I had to release the bell, it was as if someone were holding it in. Now, doorbells don't do that unless someone puts their finger in them and holds it there. I had to believe it was my son. It has happened twice since then and always at a significant time. Or when I was really very upset. I believe it's him. There is no logical reason for this to be happening.
