Some years ago I was at home with one of my daughters when we heard someone hammering on the door and my other daughters voice calling "Mum" repeatedly. Believing that my younger daughter had forgotten her key my older daughter and I both hurried to the door only to find it closed, but unlocked and no-one there. We later found out that at the time of this incident my younger daughter was at her boyfriends house, and having just heard that a child she knew had died, had locked herself in the bathroom and was crying. She was very shocked and distraught and I have always believed that this was some sort of telepathy? Has anyone any ideas?

Do you have a wireless doorbel?
Mine is always going off, you have to switch it to a different frequency from your neighbour otherwise people calling at their house can set your doorbell off.

This is exactly what I think it is, I rekon you have a wireless bell and it's still on the factory default frequency just like the one a few dors away.

hi all

this happens at my house as i live in a haunted house with 2 children both under 5 and they dont want to be moved to the light thay will let me know when its time and i will send then on there way

this is one of there tricks they like playing lets ring the door bell they are round as i am typeing this at the moment thay have set the smoke detector off as well its just to say hay we are here and around

Wow, it's very cool to hear others sharing about a "doorbell" ringing without anybody being there. It has scared me quite a bit when has happened, as wasn't expecting anyone! But seriously, it has happened many, many times. I have no explanation for it what so ever. Spirits have always come to me when am not prepared and have consequently been caught quite off guard. Again, thanks for sharing, am glad to know am not alone with this phenomeneon now! My mom is a psychic and professional astrologer and she said when talked on phone today she'll help put a stop to it. Will share more later! ;-)

Ive heard about this before. I heard that you are not suppose to open the door, because it could let spirits in.
