Great responses, thank you all!. I have stayed up with my flashlight, ran all around the neighborhood when this happened and saw no one. I don't believe that kids are responsible. The last post connecting a spirit to this saga seems more plausible because after each "door bell" incident, I receive news of a death of close friends.
Perhaps "Spirit" is notifying me ahead of time of such sad events!. The door bell hasn't rang for a few weeks so we'll see.

I used to live on the top floor of a large house were the rooms were rented out as bedsits, well one morning the front door bell rang and i quickly rushed out of my room and ran downstaires, only stopping just before the front door and started laughing, i rememered we dont have a front door bell and a couple of months previouse a medium told me that the spirits like to play around with me and play tricks like this. :lol:

I think I have it solved now. Its origin is psychic in nature from an evil source.

Yes i did have problems with ghosts when waking up early in the morning,i awoke with one was sitting on me,on my spirit, i have sinced moved from the place, thanks for your help conscious.

I'm sorry but what rubbish! How can you possibly know either that it is spirit or that it is evil. Why do so many people assume spirit are evil? In my experience spirit come in love. And as like attracts like and most people are not evil themselves how does that work? And as for ghosts sitting on you!! There is something that I cannot for the life of me recall the name of right now, but it is when you are beginning to wake but your body cannot yet be moved. It has nothing to do with spirit. Poor old spirit! They get blamed for everything!!

I am talking about ghost, that are spirit anyway,AMP24 i think your coming from a spiritualist point of view. yes spirit come in love but than again there are those that have past away that have done very bad things on earth and want to do the same in spirit. My husband's grandmother hears door knocking around 3 a.m. Sometimes its every night and then it goes away for a while and then starts back up. My father n law had an heart attack at the doorway of the front door around 1 p.m. Also, her husband passed about the same time in the nursing home not sure what time though. She looks no one there she waits up sometimes and hears it then looks and no one there. She swears it is my father n law haunting her because she replaced her bathroom and he was the last one that worked on it.
