I read my favourite mag today and a story caught my eye. It went something like this..A woman's boiler broke down and her husband just couldnt fix it. While he went to fetch a plumber-friend this woman had a 'feeling' that if she went to turn the taps on then try the ignition button the boiler would work. Surprise..the boiler fired up and she even had the chance for a hot shower before her husband arrivd home with his mate. This woman had recently become interested in Angels and was reading a book on how to get in touch with your own angels etc...she saw this 'little miracle' as proof of Angelic help! This has rienforced her belief that Angels exist!
Now i know i sound synical but i have never really believed in Angels. Yet i think i believe in spirit/spirit guides. I found this story laughable, silly and so shallow. Why the heck would a devine being help fix a boiler! When there are so many people out there who genuinly suffer why would an angel choose to do this but either choose not to or dont want to cure cancer or stop mass starvation! What surprises me is this story got magazine coverage! I just cant help believing that Angels do not exist. |

Well Amanda, the readers must buy it lol. But I agree with you in so far as angels having better things to do. For me the explanation that makes the most sense is that angels do not get involved in our everyday lives - the small stuff - but rather have much larger overarching things to do. I personally think it is our guardians in spirit who help us, as well as our own higher selves. I am sure that sometimes people have intuition about something and think that they couldn't possibly have known that themselves. Therefore, they say an angel helped them.

...I believe the words, ' get off your @%$# and be grateful', were slotted in there regarding how much trance work I was willing to do at the time. ..... Needless to say, amid my response, I informed that 'medium' I don;t take lectures from stupid horses telling me what I should and should not be doing with my mediumship, ..... then I got up and walked off ..lol  Nat xxx

Hahahaha- it gets better; Texas didn't speak (that would be ridiculous, lol). No, he communicated through an 'animal psychic'. He psychically sent messages and readings to his psychic handler, who then communicated to the sitter! I mean, why even bother with the horse if the handler's a psychic? Not sure which is loopier really; the mag for printing it, the readers who bought it (if any!) or the woman who thinks she can read the mind of a horse which she thinks can read the mind of people! All i can say is WOW- im in the wrong line of work! Gonna spend an hour with my cat tonight & see if he can't communicate this week's lottery numbers to me. And i bet that stray dog i'm always chasing out of my garden can give me investment advice based on his predictions of the stock market (buy buy buy.....bones,lol). Karenxxx

Angels like spirit are not allowed to cure people of cnacer and suffering because that's their Lessons they have come to Learn whilst incarnate and spirit can support, guide and reassure. Perhaps you would benefit from going to a Spiritualist church service and see how communications work and come through. Always giving evidence of survival and hints of whats around the next corner, messages of love and reassurance, BUT they cannot interfere or tell you whats around the next corner, because you are not supposed to know. If you did no one would have Free Will would they and life would be extremely boring, stagnant and we would all walk around like zombies without hope, individuality etc... think about it. LOL |

The feather thing has happened for me too; my nana died last year, aged 86. Obviously i was upset; i missed her terribly, but thanks to my outlook on death (and life after) i found comfort in the belief that she'd no longer be in pain & more importantly, she'd be reunited with my Grandad.
My two eldest, however were still quite tearful & were struggling to come to terms with it all, as we'd also lost my husbands grandparents earlier that year. One day, coming home from school i decided to tell them about angels and the white feather & we decided to give it a try. Within a minute we spotted a white feather. And another. And another! This really helped them & now they're sure there's not one, but three angels taking care of nana. I also agree that the angels don't help people willy-nilly- i lost my ipod last weekend & no angels to help that day. Was fed up over losing it, but my life or my future happiness didn't depend on me finding it, so no angel. Also, as it was my own fault, as i was careless with it, what would i have learnt if they had stepped in? Basically, it was my fault i lost it & i've learnt to take better care of my stuff. Last year though, my kids really needed some hope & the angels provided- they're always there when we need them, not always when we want them, and that's the way it should be- how would we grow as humans otherwise? In my late teens I was going through a lot of traumatic experiences in life. So I decided to end it all, as I was just fed up with life and what it was throwing at me.
I got my rifle, went out to The New Forest in my car, parked somewhere quiet and put the rifle to the side of my head. I pulled the trigger and heard the click! Nothing happened, and everything went all surreal (but felt a very loving presence in the car with me afterwards). The rifle was empty and the bullet was gone! no blood...and I was still very much alive! On the side of my head is a scar! What I believe happened is my Guardian Angel intervened, otherwise I would not be here now telling you this. Needless to say I was stunned by all of this and the very next day I got rid of the rifle and vowed I would never put myself in a position like that ever again. Take care In Love & Light |

I'm new to this forum, but not to psychic experiences, so as I was browsing, I found this. It surprised me greatly, on a PSYCHIC forum, where I assume people with a range of experience would write, that anyone would find this odd. I am an animal communicator, (or animal psychic, if you prefer that term) but I have communicated with (had messages from) any type of spirit known to exist over the last fifty years: trees, elementals, Druids, people living and dead, body parts. I don't find any of this strange and in recent years have been encouraged by meeting several people who have done the same, though never one individual, apart from myself, who has done all of them. I also use psychometry to get information from objects. One thing I have never done is use a spirit guide, though all the formally trained mediums I've met have done at some time. So why is it strange, if a person who normally works as an animal communicator, uses a horse as a spirit guide. It makes quite a lot of sense to me. I am reluctant to do readings for people, though I often pick up lots of information which I will pass on if asked. I often get strange replies from animals to the owner's favourite question, "Is there anything else s/he wants to tell me?" I have had, "Children shouldn't eat so many crisps before they go to bed." "Smoking isn't good for you," and even, "The car needs a new clutch." All these were very relevant to the pet's owner and timely when I passed the message on. I assume that other animal communicators do the same and that this is how this lady came to pass on Texas' messages. As far as getting the cat to tell you the lottery numbers, I am sure many a psychic has tried their usual communication method to find them out. Never met any who succeeded, so I don't think it would work by asking the cat. |

How would a horse (or whatever animal) even know what a clutch is?
I agree with Karen, what is the need for a psychic to get info from a psychic animal if they are psychic themselves. Why not just go straight to the source? Here are a couple of hypothesis for consideration... 1. Your own intuition may be picking up the info from the owner and you are mistakingly attributing it to coming from an animal? 2. Your info (tho seeming psychic rather than mediumistic from what you have said) is coming from a guide in spirit who you simply just don't recognize? Some mediums never really get to know their guides even if looking for them, ... they are still there in the background working with them tho regardless. Possible. 3. Generally the type of person who would have an animal psychic come out (and I don't mean that negatively - my dogs have a homeopath who is psychic and who uses her abilty in her allopathic diagnosis/treatment) would be someone close to their animals who spends a lot of time with them, etc. It may be possible then that the owners energy is heavily imprinted in the animals aura and whilst you still get the info from the animals aura, that it is just imprinted there, not being interactively conveyed to you by the animal itself? You may have reasons to discount such possibility, but they are the first things I would be considering whether I could catagorically rule out or not. Nat xxx BTW - I am not completely bagging animal/psychic stuff either, ..and I 100% believe some people have something going on with animals. I've had clearly psychic animals, (tho all the current one's are about as psychic as a piece of rubber ..lol - except Oscar - one of my fish - yes, I and others believe the fish is psychic ..lol) ... other's pets that are supposedly stand offish usually end up in my lap,... even wild animals respond well. I also, ... maybe coz of my affinity for animals (?), ... have a bit of a knack for accurately diagnosing animal health issues (without even seeing the animal in person) before vets get to confirm it. However, I see them in my head with red patches wherever they are diseased or injured, ..then I get more specific thought of the actual condition. It comes from my intuition tho, the animal does not communicate the thought to me.
