In quite a few of my dreams now I've dreamed of animals (mostly, though maybe humans too) coming back to life after being dead for the time it takes for something to be 'definitely dead'. In all of these cases I am the one to bring these things back to life through my choice of actions.
For example last night I dreamed of my goldfish (a familiar subject of my dreams these days, I might add). I had 4 goldfish in their tank in the dream. In real life I had 4, but one died last year so now I only have the three. For some reason two were out of their tank on the floor nearby. I'd only noticed they were out after half an hour (so the dream said the time had been). By that time one was still alive and moving, but the other was on its side and dead (and had gone rock hard of all things). I scooped up the one that was still alive and it began swimming around in the tank with the other two normally. The other one I knew was dead, but decided to try and bring it to life by running water through its gills. So I dragged it around in the tank for a little while, and it too, began to show signs of life. A few moments later it was swimming around the tank also. So nobody died. That's only one example of a dream I've had where I brought something back to life. I've had at least two of my fish dying and being bought back. Another was of baby waterbird chicks, which came back to life as soon as I held the cage submerged in salt water. Any help on this dream topic would be appreciated! |

has someone died in your life? maybe it's not bring them back but you not letting them die in the sense that you haven't moved on. the dream is what you want to do but also what you shouldn't do. if you can try to control the dream and leave them dead, see what happens. bet they transcend or something like that, you've been holding them back.
I don't believe in spirits or anything but emotionally and mentally you have people who have past lingering around, allow yourself to grieve. |

I think the dream is about the power of love that includes compassion, caring, willingness to help ,kindness...spirituality.Sometimes a smile or kind word can make the difference. And of course,we have to remember that nothing 'dies', life goes on

Thank you for your reply, ThatGuyAsking, but no, nobody in my life has died recently so I doubt it's that exactly. Your idea of not letting go is still valid though, perhaps I'm not letting go of other issues in my life.
I like to think the dreams have a meaning similar to what Emerald said But I have had one dream where someone died and remained dead. It was more a nightmare... I was a passenger in a car with a woman I know driving, and one of my friends in the seat beside me. For some reason my friend opened the door and jumped out of the car, and I felt this horrid bump as the car hit her and she rolled under the tires (horrible feeling!). I looked out the back window to see her still corpse on the road behind, and I began screaming at the lady who was driving to stop the car, but she wouldn't and she kept on driving. Dream time passed, and I eventually persuaded the woman to drive back. By the time we'd gotten back to the stretch of road, the body was gone and a memorial had already been placed by the side of the road. Driving on, I saw that by the roadside were many memorials, about a meter or two apart. This freaked me out. The remainder of the dream I must have become partially aware of dreaming, because I tried several tricks I do in my lucid dreams: turning back the clock, or willing the dream to take a certain direction. But this time, I couldn't change it. She was gone. She didn't come back. I began grieving in my dream. Shortly after realising this I woke up. If anyone else has any suggestions I'd love to hear them too! Last edited by Wanderer668; Tue, 9th Feb 2010 at 04:03 am. |

i may be totally but this is what i think. i think it may relate to your nature of being a helper of all and nurturing in nature. i think it is your healing skills that may be giving you these dreams of healing the life of these different animals in need. this may be some part of your personality if you find that you are the voice of comfort in others time of need so to speak. well like i said that i may be way off but there it is.

that dream is something i can relate to. hopefully this is spot on. the second dream is about the travel (life) as a road that you travel and the friends we lose on the way. you can not stop when we lose someone we just have to keep going. looking back on the trip you see all the markers that i believe to be landmarks in our emotional growth. for each one we lose marks a great emotional time in our life and we grow from it. the sadness is this can not be changed and no matter how hard we try we just have to keep driving down the road.
