How does the chat room work
How does that chat room work, I click on it and when I get to a new page there is nothing that takes me into a chatroom???? Please can someone explain what to do next...I am feeling a bit lost at the moment...

Hi Unikath,
first thing do you have Java on your pc if not I believe you will need to download it, it's free When you click on chat rooms it should take you to a page which has: Your Psychic Family Live Chat Room at the top, just under that on the left it says Users, on the right Rooms Under rooms is a list of the different chat areas, click on the room you wish to enter, then at the bottom of the Rooms window click on the enter button please note: certain rooms need a password as they are for paying members only, a little window pops up asking for a password. It shows me your Psychic Family>chat room
It doesn't say " live" chat room and then just below that is two banners etc...

your pc
your firewall may be blocking the application or your java is not up to date. this is where i would check first and see of it helps you access the chat rooms. try the java update first tho as this is the most common problem that i have seen with not gaining entry to the rooms. if you need any more help i will be happy to try.

I don't know how to check if the Java is up to date, sorry I am not too clued up with that..

You need to look and check you have java first. If you don't then type java into google and it should take you to sunsystems for a free download. Java is usually the reason people can't get in.

Ok I have done the Java thingy and still not working...
It's weird because I am able to everything else on the internet at other websites etc... Maybe I am just not meant to go into chatroom...

Hi, me again....
I just want to say thanks for the help, it actually did work with the Java download....Still getting used to Vista but all is working nicely so I am able to get into chat now, thanks again..
