Spiritualism promotes the fact that we live forever and that in the afterlife we are surrounded by those we love and have formed bonds with. So, if this is the case. how am I to be with my family in the spirit world if I or they are reicarnated into another physical form. My personal opinion is that our existence in the physical world is just one of many experiences for us..Why do we need to keep repeating it ?
I'd love to hear from others about their opinions on this topic. |

hey beautiful,
in many ways i agree with ur idea. we do come to earth to learn a certain lesson and i am pretty sure that our existence doesnt cease simply there. surely, keeping in mind the many levels and dimensions of existence, the amount of times we can be or exist in saome sort of live in any of those dimensions is inumerable. However, some lessons can only be learned in a world marked by physical limitations, even if its the lesson that our mind can overcome those physical boundaries, so maybve dependant on the state of awareness and growth, reincarnation can occur if choosen so in order to demonstrate a certain lesson or experience. I really don't know if i believe in reincarnation. It hasnt been proven enough for me yet. Also the thought of me having to come back and do all this again is not a nice one
however like everything else if it was proven to me then i would have to accept that it does and can happen |

I certainly believe in reincarnation. I read a book that says groups of spirits reincarnate together so I suppose the people who die before us wait till we are ready so we can all go back again together. I believe this idea is true because the people I have in my life I do feel like I have known before. I just wish I knew what I was doing in my past life. I have never even gotten a clue in a dream. I am very curious because I feel like what I am doing in my life right now connects with my a past life. A card reading also said this so I am pretty frustrated. All in good time I suppose.

There is an interesting theory, and one I do believe in, that we do not bring all of our energy with us each time we reincarnate. Advanced souls usually bring 20-40% and souls that have not been around the block as often usually bring 40-80%. The part of the soul that stays on the Other Side keeps working away, learning lessons, keeping an eye on the body that IS incarnated and generally being a busy soul in the hereafter. That way, when others pass over they can be greeted by the part of the soul of the loved one that is still there, even though the physical body is still on this side. Otherwise it would be one HUGE waiting game for all the souls...each waiting on the other to get back. This way, if you passed before your loved one, they can still meet you at the entrance to the Otehr Side, even though their physical body is still here!
Reassuring, isn't it??? Blissfully! KathyDV

That could be true,it certainly makes sense. I think though its not like every person you know was in every life with you. Some people may move on with out you. I do think though that small groups of souls move through lives together. Like with my small group of friends we are all about the same age, give or take five years. Also some of my family members and they are alot older than me. So its very possible that some of them may not have been there when I died before. I am not saying you are wrong though because what you believe sounds very plausable infact. Thats just how I see it and I suppose I wont know till I am dead will I and then who am I gonna tell except maybe if I see a psychic I will tell them. You have made me think now and that hurts my head. I am very tired at the moment and I don't think I am gonna be able to make sense of this till I get a proper nights sleep.

I believe in reincarnation, what KathyDV said also makes sense-maybe that other part not here, is what we call our higher self? I think we choose and make contracts while in spirit about what roles we have, what lessons to learn, and who we will be connected to in future lives. Im going through a longing for knowledge on this subject at the moment. Great topic!

Yes, that is exactly the way I understood it - the Higher Self is the part on the Other Side still woking on lessons. When I had a "Life Between Lives" hypnosis session that is what was explored. I was taken to where we go inbetween incarnations and explored that aspect of myself. I won't go into all the details, but some of my questions were not answered and I was told that 'It was not for me to know at this time." It was a fascinating experience and if any of you get the chance - do it! This is based on Dr. Michael Newton's work and his books on it are Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls. I have no affiliation with him, was just completely blown away with the books and the process.

I believe in reincarnation. I have had this feeling of waiting for someone. Like I knew them in another life. I am feeling a little impatient that they haven't 'found' me yet. I am not sure what to do other than just wait.

What seems to make sense to me is: while it may not feel like it while we are here, the time we spend here is just a short lesson, like a day at school. It is a lifetime to us in this life, but to those relatives and loved ones in Spirit back on the other side it is just a short time. so they do not actually have long to wait for us. When we return to the other side, our home, we will have hopefully learned from our lessons here in this life, but it won't seem that we've been away for very long. We will then be able to spend as much time as we wish with relatives & loved ones on the other side, & when one of us needs to go back for another life, another lesson, they will again be gone only a short time.
Sorry to put it simplisticaly, but it just seems to me it's like going to school for the day. And when I return home, they will all be waiting, to find out how my day went, and if I have learned from my experiences. And if, when I get back, one of my relatives has already 'left' for another life, I will know they will be home inside a day, so we will not miss each other for long. Just a theory, I'm not sure if it makes sense, but it does to me |
