He is warm genuine. I have read his books and follow him on twitter now. I missed out seeing him when he was here and i am gutted. I love listening to him and do not see any fakeness in him.

I'll just say, I saw him live when he was in Australia. He left much to be desired as far as justifying the ticket price.

1. They did A LOT of takes
2. He was wrong or 'cold' most of the time
3. We had to fill in 'information requests' to better help him 'tune in' to our individual needs (and we were assigned seat numbers aka 'section a, b, c'.

John Edwards is one of the very few whom I feel a connection with. I dunno what happened in Australia..it is entirely plausable that he had a long distance arguement with his wife, or could have been feeling sick and even just having a bad day!

Christ is the only Christ like figure we will ever have on the books, so I say give the guy a break. Ever heard of jet lag?

I watch him with a very sceptical eye, always have and always will.

I know from experience that the deceased speak with a sort of pantomime and not directly in your ear. My dad appeared to me in a dream with his pants pockets turned inside out, and I got this "feeling" he wanted to know where his money went. When I asked my mom about my dream, she said dad had save some cash in the pockets of some old pants he had stuffed under his bed, and she had spent it.

Ah well, believe what you will, but I would love to have a personal reading by John...although I am thinking it should prolly be a private one! lol

I saw John Edward when he appeared at Australia Zoo. He was Brilliant. There was flack in the media that he didn't bring through Steve Irwin, can you imagine what would of been said if he did. Terri Irwin and family had a private reading before the show, so what came through to them, if anything, was private. I have often watched Johns show and thought wow he can come accross as quite cranky, but he's passionate in what he does. Having seen him live I would go again and again.

First off, I only know from what I have experienced.
The dead speak to me in symbols as he says..such as my Dad pulled out his pants pockets whan he asked me what happened to all the money he left. I get what John Edwards is saying.

I am a bit dumbfounded that he doesn't see the dead as apparitions or in dreams. They sort of bug me no matter what I do, and it really isn't a choice I have.

My gut instinct is that he is actually tapping into the brains of the living, and gaining knowledge directly from them, which means he is an ULTRA Empath...and less of a Speaker of the Dead.

My opinion, feel free to change it ".

No hes fake like all mediums and psychics who claim any 'ability'. Its all cold reading and generalisations with a mix of psychcology. Absolute nonsense that preys on peoples vunerability.
Derren Brown has shown how you can be a 'medium' in a far more impressive manner than any of these phonies. I expect to get slated for stating this but im happy to discuss it as an adult with anyone who wants to. But if your going to use the argument of experiance- please dont bother. Im afraid experiance is not a triue test of reality and proves nothing (i once hallucinated pink unicorns- it doesnt mean they are real, just thjat i was ill).

So you are so sure of your opinion you don't even want to share a name with us? lol. I wouldn't dream of trying to persuade you otherwise. As far as I am concerned everyone is entitled to their opinion. Just one thing to consider though - Just because Derren Brown can put together an act that makes him appear to 'read' people, doesn't mean that is what mediums are doing. Derren Brown is a magician and mediums are not. He does what he does to entertain and mediums work to bring comfort to those in need. But hey, as I said, you are entitled to believe what you want to. I am too busy helping others to worry about it.

I have at times seen names written in my mind and literally just read them, ... so I suppose someone more clairvoyant could ask for the spirit to show them the name rather than tell them it. In reverse, I don't always see the spirit, so I often have to literally ask them what their build was, what color hair they have, if they have any defining features, etc, and get the answers 'verbally'. They oblige the questioning tho, so I guess it could work in reverse to ask for a name to be written instead. Maybe someone more so clairvoyant could also test drive that approach and let us know how it goes?

I do believe John Edward is legitimate. Personally, I am very similar to him in the way I work and I believe his strongest clair is clairsentience than clairvoyance or clairaudience. I learned a lot about my abilities just by watching him and I have seen him do live, unedited readings on webcasts via his new website community. I'm not saying I'm JUST like him but for me, I get lots of emotions and physical sensations and a sense of whether the person is older/younger, friend/relative to the sitter FIRST. Once I get that out of the way, when I ask spirit questions, I will almost always get the clairsentience first immediately followed by either pictures and/or words. I always thought I just couldn't focus clearly enough to get specific information like names, but it turns out I have all the clairs with clairsentience being the strongest and clairalience being the weakest. This form of mediumship can tend to make you feel like you are bouncing all over the place and in addition to being a New Yorker (LOL) I think that's why he talks so fast. I have a hard time getting names, but I can get a name that's either close in sound or sometimes initials appear to me as if they are written in the air. I don't know WHY I don't get specific names but I get a lot of specific information otherwise. Once I kept seeing the letters ERI and the person "felt" like a Terrence or Terry so I said the name Terri and the sitter said no and when I said I'm seeing ERI, the sitter said "his name is Eric!" Usually, the only reason they will let me see letters is if I'm not hearing the name and I got the feeling wrong. I guess spirit figures that for me, it's good enough to get close. That's my impression as a clairsentient.
