ahhh thats a real shame if he is a froud so to speak, he has such a lovely face and i too realy like him,

i hope he is not and for the people whome know him as friends and say hes a not whot hes crack up to be , dont u get a lot of that where people have a chip on thier shoulder because thier not doing his show and mybe they are a little better than he is an think they should be in the lime light , it happens all the time , an people love a good gossuip dont they!

I had always wanted to see John Edward having watched him on television. I was concerned that my "bubble would be burst" though as had read much criticism of him and his live shows. That there are people hovering outside while you queue up who listen to you, that you are all made to wait in a room for an hour or so, hidden cameras, etc etc. I was also concerned about TV editing etc. I was very fortunate that he did a show in London recently which i went to. All the critics and skeptics are completely incorrect (well for the show I went to). You just walked straight in no waiting around. He was fantastic and his readings were excellent. There is no doubt in my mind of his ablity. Even if you dont get read you come away feeling almost like you have, that you have really gained something by seeing him. His outlook on life (and death) is very inspirational. I completely think he is genuine!

The majority of T.V. psychics dont really impress me, it's mostly cold reading and bullying the person(or stooge :lol: ) into confirming before they've had time to let it all sink in. James van der wotsit& Colin Fry are so insincere it makes me wanna vomit & the only good thing about Derek Acorah is the comedy he provides when he becomes 'possessed'.
However, John Edward stumps me! if he's a fake then he's abloody good one! He always seems sincere, he DISCOURAGES people to be read when they are still greiving, (when they're most vulnerable&easier to fleece by unscrupulous so-called psychics). His style is so convoluted,his references so obscure that if he his faking he's making life hard for himself-cold reading would be much easier, why go to all the trouble?
One example (and if he was lying, he defo fooled me); He was reading for this woman& he picked up on her dad. He said he was speaking in what sounds like spanish, but he couldn't understand him. The woman confirmed he was portuguese, i think. He kept saying something over&over & John Edward repeated it as best as he could. The woman gasped& covered her mouth& he asked what her father had said. At first she said she didn't want to tell him& she looked embarrassed. After much persuasion she relented- My father said,'This guy is full of ****!' That convinced me; it couldv'e been a really elaborate act i suppose, nut like i say, there are much easier ways. Also he doesn't pretend to have a conversation with spirit- thats what i hate most about Colin Fry. I think he could be the genuine article

John Edward has compassion, integrity, and I have no doubt in my mind as to his authenticity. He is a good medium who helps a lot of people and is keen and enthusiastic to do so. Why is it that people in the limelight are subjected to such negative press and energy. Such a shame. I believe if you cant say something nice - zip it. x x

After many many months of calling in, I was finally lucky enuff to get tix to see a John Edwards t.v. taping in NY a few years back. Me, my daughter and her best friend went together on that warm June day trudging our way over to Queens on trains, subways, cabs and a whole lotta walking. Now, my husband had died many years prior to that time as did the best friend's father some years after my husband, so we all went with a specific "agenda" in mind. My husband had always told me that if he should die before me he would always come back and haunt me so I was hoping to get a message from my dear husband and my daughter's best friend was hoping to hear from her dad on that day. To make a very long story just a tad shorter, towards the end of the taping while J.E. was doing a reading on the woman sitting right next to me, he suddenly stopped mid-sentence and asked if these 2 certain sounding names meant anything to anyone in the audience. My ears perked up but I kept my mouth shut. He went back to finish up with the lady next to me but then mentioned those certain sounding names a few more times...saying that he was getting this "pushy person" who kept wanting to interrupt him. My daughter and her friend recognized the names right away and nudged me to speak up. Still I just sat there, mostly stunned at what I was hearing. It was NOT my husband's name I was hearing nor was it the best friend's father's name but rather it was the names of this mean old wretched miserable man who had lived in our building for umpteen years with his female "slave" and who had died some years back. This man tortured me, my husband & our family while he was alive from the day we moved into that building until his most-welcomed death some 12 or so years later, as well as torturing the best friend's father, mother and the best friend herself. Believe me when I say that NOBODY in our neat tiny suburban building liked this man. Anyway, I finally spoke up with a lump in my throat and blurted out that I recognized those names. After confirming the names with him, J.E. claimed that this "pushy person" had just given me a "cameo appearance" to get some kinda message thru to me but that we were at the end of the taping and he could not continue on with it. WHY that miserable freak came thru for me that day instead of my hubby or the friend's father I cannot say for sure. I can only surmise that by the three of us getting the "cameo appearance", we would definitely recognize those names and then would know that the messages we so dearly wanted to hear from our loved ones were coming thru loud and clear. I can be way off base here but thats the way I saw it......and thats the way it has always remained. So yes, I am a believer in John Edward.....not to mention the fact that I too have read ALL of his books as well.

I really believe him to be genuine,

I've seem him live as well, he did a great job the night I was there. I think he is the real deal!

He's connected and his hearts in the right place, thats all that really matters.

Saw him on tour in Birmingham, UK about a year ago.

Have to say that the chap is very entertaining and knows how to put on a performance. I'd say that he did just about enough to convince the believer in me while really doing nothing to satisfy my inner sceptic.

Four of us went as a group and all of us were "well, he was ok, but..."

Have to say that the people he read well, he read VERY well indeed. There just weren't that many good readings.

I would probably go back and see him if he toured UK again, just to have the earlier show as something to compare and contrast with.

John Edward's Tv show is very entertaining but we only see the edited version so it's pretty difficult to judge from that.
I have seen him live and he seemed very good, some people that were read seemed amazed by the accuracy, however from that performance the skeptic in me would ask the following questions

1. If the people who are supposed to get the messages always get them, how come very few people at the back get them (I know thats not true of the show but as I said not in position to judge that)? In theatre I went to see him, it is nearly impossible to see anyone up in the gods - if he can't see u he can't read u. Surely the spirit would know u were there! Also people who ask questions get readings - convenient!

2. Why all the entertainment - magician? It does a very good job in eeeeekin out the readings, erm less to make up?

3. Why all the history, surely anyone that is there knows how it works and has watched the show countless times, not to mention reading the books. All people want is a reading, wasting time again? Although, the man is very egotistical so talking bout himself is probably his idea of a fantastic night out - so scrub that

Anyways all I'm saying is that if u wanna believe nothing will convince u otherwise and vice versa.
I have read his books and they're a good read so what's the prob if someone believes and u don't. If a few words from him or any other medium brings someone comfort when they need it. Then John Edward keep up the good work!!!

If u wanna question it all, that he's a big fat liar, look for evidence cuz there's plenty there!

His television program is run over here and I am impressed.

I have seen him stick diligently to what he has picked up... where many Mediums who don't get a positive answer to what has been given to them get flustered, and some even change the format of what they got to suit the reciever of that message... What was once seen as not relevant has, more often than not, been realised by the reciever of the message later on in their reading and even after the Reading... John Edwards sticks to what has been given by Spirit and Spirit give those messages for a reason.

There are as many ways to Channel Spirit as there are individual personalities...
There is no Channel exactly the same way.

While I am able to see Spirit, I can't always hear them and so we have to go through this sometimes almost comical set of charades to get the messages... Having been a Portrait Artist and also being able to see Spirit as well has given me another individual kind of channel where I draw the faces of the Spirit I see around a person... however...

Some get names and dates straight away... OMG... I wish, I wish

I suppose that it all comes down to the type of Channel and also the type of Spirit Energy that each one of us has as to how it comes through for each one of us...
