I used to sell mobile phones and from what I can remember the SE K800i only has a 3.2mp cam.
I figure any cam phone will be equal to a digi cam, but only if you bear in mind the megapixels. With a 3.2 you won't get high quality shots. Sony Ericsson Satio is a super duper phone. 12megapixel camera!!! Now that would give you the shots you want. But yeah, back to the question. There's no reason I know of why a phone would be any different to a camera but again, it all depends on the megapixels. |

Right, just to expand and clairify, the megapixels on your camera determines size, which then in turn determines the quality of the picture. For example, if you take a small picture on a high resolution camera (lots of megapixels) the quality will be clear and distinct. If you take a large picture on a low resolution camera (few megapixels) the quality will be grainy or pixelated.

I've bagged some intriguing pics - orbs etc - on a K800i, provided it's on max resolution and the performance is optimised for the conditions. Generally, the more sophisticated the camera, the worse it can be for bagging paranormal stuff - once you get all kinds of on board software compensating for image quality, blur, unexpected movements etc, you lose a LOT.
