I hate horror movies. And love them at the same time!

The thrill you get is pretty amazing-but after I watch a horror movie I get paranoid, even start doubting my own ears and eyes.I do enjoy horror movies but I am too sensitive for them, and I will watch them if accompanied by a good friend who can hold my had and tell me to close my eyes when it gets to scary

Default They do affect me!

I used to like watching scary movies, but I can no longer do so. They scare me so much. Not because I think demons or zombies are going to get me, but because they start to make me think about my own, and my families mortality. I know, it sounds weird, but I think it's because I'm empathetic. I get to worked up during the film, that I have nightmares, and then i feel what the character in the movie feels, even though they are acting. Then I begin to have anxiety attacks, and start thinking about death. Crazy huh! I had to make myself stop watching them because I would have such bad anxiety attacks, I felt like my heart was going to explode!

I've never liked horror movies LOL. I remember as a kid waking up in the middle of the night to my Mother watching "Creature Double Feature" ... she absolutely loved horror movies! Personally, I can't watch any horror movies, or movies that have a lot of physical fighting in them, especially before going to bed! They all seem to make me very anxious. I prefer watching comedy, scientific, history, or documentary shows. To each his own I guess.

I'm not a fan of horror movies, because they seem to incorporate a lot of pointless ****** violence than an actual story, and as well as upsetting me i don't see the point of them.
I've never had any make me start seeing strange things though. perhaps if shadow demons/spirits exsist your heightened state of fear makes you more susceptible?

Default Yes

Yes I have often regreted watching things before I go to bed, sometimes they play on my mind as I have a very vivid imagination...It is daft though that when you are in bed at night time you can invent the most awful senarios that seem ridiculous in the cold light of day lol
