coke hunny
you are still grieving for the loss. it doesn't matter that it was a pet, you loved and still love your beloved friend. When we lose someone ( and i include animals in someone cos they are that close) we go through stages that eventually bring us to the point when we can think of them in memory without the hurting. This loss is still very fresh for you and you will be thinking very much about this.

I have heard of people still feeling their pets close to them - which if this happens - must be of some relief and help to thse who need it, if this is what you are feeling take comfort from it and continue along the path you need to remember your friend in the days that bring you the most happiness

give yourself time hunny - you will get through this
love n light

Please tell me she will see her family aswell? i'd hate for her not to see her mother or father again although she hasn't since she was a pup. I'd not want her to wait for me to die to see me again without seeing her family, that's just cruel!

I am very sorry for your lost.
I myself have lost many pets since I was young.
but they are def. still around me.
i lost two cats I had since i was a baby
within the past 2years.. charlie & whiskers. I was devastated.
but i did have a dream.. that they crawled up into bed with me.
it was soo realistic, it took my breath away. i woke up
petting my blanket.

recently i awoke in the middle of the night..
and saw a cat playing on the couch with my bf's mother while she was sleeping.
it was so real i thought to myself ( oh don't tell me she got a cat now!? geez we have 2 big dogs thats enough)
i ran to the bathroom and when i came out there was def. no cat there.
but i swore i saw it, it wasnt a 'dream' because i was laying awake in bed for at least 15min before I
hauled my *** up. hahahha.

soo now i def. believe that past pets and the spirits of animals are
always around us.

my own mother swears at night sometimes she feels like cats are
walking around on the bed.. and she reaches out looking for sweetie (our current cat)
and shes no where in sight.

i do not know if animals are reincarnated.
i personally don't believe they are..
but regardless they will come and visit you.
I promise. just keep your eyes open.

I hear noises in my house sometimes now, 4 days i believe it was after my dog had died i heard a sniffing sound and the sound of her toe dragging on the ground. I dunno though...maybe i wasnt hearing the sounds before because she was around and the house felt alive, now it's all quiet and hearing these strange sounds. Her picture is still on my desktop. it's been over 2 weeks i guess i should let this thread die now.

Hi I think we will see our pets. Here's why. My mother took my grandmother's dog Bonnie home to live with her and my dad after my grandmother died. A few years later, I had a dream that I was with my current dog waiting for an appointment at the vets by my grandmother's house where we used to go when I was little. My grandmother walked in with her dog Bonnie, and I was surprised to see her and asked her what she was doing there. She didn't answer, and I woke up. A few days later I talked to my mom who told be that Bonnie had died in her sleep. I really think that my grandmother was waiting for her dog and that they are together.

A beautiful dog, no wonder you miss her.
Nothing made the loss of my little dog Bobby any easier. I just had to put everything of his away and try very hard not to dwell on it.
I hope I meet up with him one day.

Sorry to hear of you loss xx, the picture is beautiful of you dog xx, its very hard lossing a pet, my little Yorkshire Terrier would have been 17 years old on january 9th 2007, miss him still loads, I've only ever had little yorks. Our pets are never alone when they cross over, my Grandfather has brought my yorkys back when I visited spiritual churches, or had a reading.
Many times I felt my dog's jump up on my bed at night, and although we do not have them to touch in the physical, we still have there spiritual love with us always.

love and blessings

Since it's still moving along, i was playing the computer on a MMORPG and headphones on and music way up and i hear my dog barking once......then i believe another familiar noise from her or a voice or something...either my head is playing tricks on me or she's still around! the sound was too high to hear anything outside barking and she has a noticible bark to her then most other dogs and easy to figure out, and it sounded like that! i guess she still enjoys being around being dead and all. i guess next time i will say more then "Charlie????" out loud....

I know a couple who have experiences of their dead dog dashing up and down the stairs, and have seen the apparition of their German Shepard around the house.
Sorry to hear of your loss, you'll see your pet when you (and him/she) is good and ready.
