Wow, I am in awe, I can't believe this topic!! Do Angels have wings? Well, my guide has taught me that the truth is in the eye of the beholder. We are all here to seek the truth, be it a perplexing philosophical question, or within the everyday mundane situations that we are challenged with. So, yes, wings are a symbolic image that we attach to represent the idea of "lightness" or "movement", or "different from us". But at the same time, we know that we are all made up of energy, be it wieghed down on in a human vessel here on earth, or on some other dimensional plane. The wings that we see, are the energetic rays that pour outwards from the angelic beings. The rays of light may take on different colors, depending on the intensity and the development of the energetic entity. We call this light an "aura" for ourselves, and it is pretty much the same for the angels, except that their energy force spins on a higher, more intense level, therefore giving the image of wings.
As for ArcAngel Michael, He presented himself to me in a dream. And yes he carries a silverish suit of armor around his chest, and sword, and he is very tall, around 7 feet. His sword does not represent anything negative. It represents the power of love. His sword is not meant to kill or harm, it is meant to cut through the truth, used as a tool for growth, and defender of greatness, and the image of love that we all seek. He is a protecter of all that is good and great, and his sheild is his barrier that envelopes, and contains the great light of love that we all seek.....
Angels are spriitually advanced sources of light that move on a higher vibrational frequency. They are different, and they help us, everyday, and every moment of our lives to find the truth. They laugh at us often, they think we are very funny, because the truth stares at us in the face, and we don't see it.!! They also don't understand negativity, when we think bad thoughts, they pull away, because it is foriegn to them!!!

Very interesting :!: This was something Sibyl had said, that the auras are perceived as resembling wings. I cannot see auras; I just read mountainous volumes of books to get my knowledge. Correlating, contemplating, rearranging, aggregating, changing my understanding until I have something that resonates truth's gospel. Everything I learn is from secondary sources because my "primary source" presently is not developed enough to acquire genuine knowledge. Nevertheless, I do not mourn my lack of development because with those such as yourself, I can, through words, vicariously experience your visions.

Now seeing Saint Michael in a dream is quite something :!: In past understandings, read in "occult" literature, the sword has been a symbol for invoked force, the directing of energy to achieve an accomplishment, whatever that may be. So I do hope no one thinks of angels as combative because of the images they use to represent themselves.

Something you said caused me to think of a question. Colors change in relation to development? How does this work :?: and what colors are beneficial and which ones are not :?:

Not too long ago, I had a dream where I was surround be several people who were trying to change the color coming from my fingertips. Red light was coming from my fingers, and it looked hella cool. These people (friends) were trying to change it to green, and it would change to green. But then I would concentrate and change it back to red because it looked cooler. The green made me think of poison, too. I wonder what it all meant. :-k

you had asked about the colors. I can't get into all of them, I would be writting forever, but there are pleanty of books that talk about it.
But I do have an idea about your dream. We are made up of 4 bodies, the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. All of these, but the physical, are often refered to as the aura of energy bodies. Whithin these subtle bodies are energy vortexes called Chakra, which means "wheel" A Chakra is a spinning vortex, or wheel, of energy. It is shaped like a spinning top, with the bottom, pointed end near the surface of the body. Chakras extend outward from the body approximately 4-6 inches (we have 7 major chakras)..(but I'm sure you know this) :wink: They are multidimensional because they also penetrate astral, mental, and spiritual dimensions. As we evolve, each of our Chakras becomes more active, but more importantly, they become more and more refined.

Every action, physical or mental affects the aura. Therefore, sudden emotions or thought patterns can generate instant energy patterns in the energy flow. There are 4 facets to perceiving and interpreting energy of the aura: COLOR, SHAPE, CONSISTENCY, and CLARITY.

I'd say that there wings colours are according to their level of achievement, as to show their badge of honour. There are levels of angels on the other side.
Angels are both male and female, they dont respond to negative emotions like we incanrated souls because they have never experience what we have on earth.
The levels or angels go up to seven from the typical angel;who have grey dusty wings to the highest seventh level angels the Principalities that have golden wings and reside with Him on the other side.

I took that test on there to see what are my strongest aura colors, and I discovered, according to the test, that my strongest colors are yellow and purple. There were others I wish were stronger but whatever. Can't have everything, I guess. I scored an 11 on both of those, and the next highest rating was a six on several. I wonder what your strongest colors are. :-k

I've been thinking a lot about developing my other senses, and I'm not sure if I can do it. They say psychic ability runs in the family, but none in my family is psychic. Well, my mother seems to be. Not too long ago she had a dream that Pinochet had died. When she awoke, she turned on the news, and it was anounced that Pinochet had had a heart attack. He didn't die, however. But several days later, they anounced his death. My mother didn't really have any reason to wonder what happens to Pinochet, so it was strange she would dream about his future. Anyway, there is only one other instance I can think of that might mean something. Nevertheless, I would love to use my full potential. I just fear it might be beyond me. I hope not :!: Well, I'm rambling. I just wanted to say thanks for the link. It was helpful and fun.

That's true, it sometimes appears to, but someone has obviously got to be the first in any lineage, ... so it might as well be you.

Half of my extended family are too afraid of their 'gods' to ever go there, (and the Jehovah's would declare me Satan's henchman and never speak to me again if they knew I was a medium - absolutely 100% serious - you could hardly be more evil in their eyes ..lol) ... the other half are staunch atheists and way too materialistic to see past the end of their noses, (and just think I am a loopy deluded air head. :lol: - but there could still be some potential there - I was an atheist too once - just never a materialisitc one :lol: )

As far as anyone knows there is no one up the family tree who has had this ability, no one down it either - So it is clearly not a prerequisite. If it interests you to do it - then go for it!

Yeah--it might as well be. There's nothing more painful than an atheistic mind set. It denies the validity of the soul, which creates a state of living death. Although one walks, talks, smiles, laughs, dances and sings, there's nothing inside to give these acts any meaning, any sense of worth. I know this very well. I went through my own Dark Age. You could say my early years--especially from 16 to 20 years old--I was in my Atlantian age. I was one with the creative energy of life. It was undeniably mystical. But this ended abruptly, and I found myself in a state of darkness, isolated from my self. This lasted five years and now, in the last few years, I've transversed into what I call my Renaissance age. It's an age of relearning and learning. I hope to never see black again. It is almost as bad as "chasing the tale of dogma," as your relatives seem to be doing--but not quite. :wink:

As far as anyone knows there is no one up the family tree who has had this ability, no one down it either - So it is clearly not a prerequisite. If it interests you to do it - then go for it!

Thank you, Natalie. This is inspiring. I shall go for it if for no other reason than to make myself smile. It would be nice . . . oh, something I just remembered. There's something I wanted to share with you. There is one thing I can do. It's something everyone can do but most don't do it. I can control what some call Kundalini. It's true. It's like cold and hot fire shooting through my body, simultaneously. I don't know how else to describe it. It's cold hot and it's all over in my body but especially along my spine. They say that one uses this through Yoga. Well, not me. I can just do it. The other night I was demonstrating to my cousin what it was. I thought I would give her energy by "pushing" it into her, via her temples. It didn't have an energizing effect, however. She felt intoxicated and couldn't stand. She was too dizzy to do so. I only "pushed" for less than 40 seconds. I can take pains out of people's bodies. This is not a miracle cure because the pains, if significant, return in several days. Nevertheless, I can alleviate certain ailments with this method. It requires concentration and control. Not too long ago my cat was dying. She wouldn't eat anything. She hadn't eaten in several days. I "pushed" the energy into her for about ten minutes. Not more than several minutes later, she went to go eat. Granted she didn't eat as much as she should have but she ate, nonetheless. This is the one thing I can say, beyond a doubt, I can do that might be called "not normal." I can't say it's psychic because it isn't. It's quite natural. (Not that psychism isn't natural of course; I just don't have any better word for it right now.) My grandfather used to use it on me all the time when I was a child. Nevertheless, some view this as significant. Those Yogis, however, make it out to be something grand, something to be concerned about. The fear of Kundalini. It's ridiculous.

Anyway, just wanted to share.

Hi C,

I'm glad you enjoyed the aura test, I used that at one of my work shops, it is alot of fun...I forgot my color, but I think it was blue...gotta do that test again!!! As for your healing capabilities, I can do that too!! Healing, people of their ilness, means that we are empaths. For me, it is such a natural ability, no effort needed, so I know what you mean. The only disapointing part is when the illness creeps back into those we help...Is'nt it frustrating? From what you have written, you chanel your own energy into others to help heal, but I highly suggest that you refrain from doing that. Because you will drain out your source of energy, and it can be very damaging. Always focus on pouring in universal energy, not your own. In other words, when you feel the need to heal, imagine a white light entering the top of your head, and that this light is filling you up with it's pure energetic power. Let it work through your spine, and then pour that energy out to the other person. Always remember to close the top of your head when you are finished. i once healed a person of hepatitis C. She was feeling fantastic for a week, and brought me gifts in thanks, and I kept on telling her that the illness would return if she did not make an effort to change her energetic vibration, but to no avail. I once healed my Aunt while she was in her hospital bed, basically waiting to die. She actually got up, ate, and walked (after two months of being imobilized). She went home and stayed with her family for 3 weeks, then was hospitalized, and died the day after. I have so many expereinces that I can write ten pages about it, but the one lesson I've learnt is to always conserve your own energy.
As for phsycic ability, be careful what you ask for. Being an empath is a great ability, work on that, refine that wonderful gift, and you will see that your spirit will gather new ways of expression, be it clairavoyance, or chanelling. You seem to be very eager to perform, but always remember that what ever you will to happen will happen, at the appropriate time.
And Nat, I feel you too!!! Everyone in my husband's side of the family is an athiest, if they knew of all of my endevors, I would be roast duck!! :?

Hi C - I have not been quite myself this week (just run down with too many drama's - no biggy) so had not gotten back to you in which I was going to say much the same thing that Jewels has about having the impression you were using your own energy in healing (magnetic healing I think it is called???) and was too going to suggest you call on spirit, universal energy, whatever, to channel that through you instead of depleting your own reserves. If that works out for you, ... then 'hello medium' after all, ... coz healing as I am sure you know, is a form of mediumship, ... and as Jewels said other forms of it can often follow suit. I was going to say tho, I know what you mean about the cold and hot energy, ... particularly up your spine, ... I've had it at times healing others, getting healing, and sometimes people I am doing healing for feel it too, ... and it's like you can't tell if it almost burns because it is so hot or so freezing cold. Fire and Ice! I don't label it tho - just energy to me.

Hi Jewels (I'll write your whole name coz I can actually spell it ...lol) ... what I think is the worst thing about having to lead this secret double life to keep the peace, is that when you have a link yourself, or get info from other mediums, about people lost to those who don't accept such concepts, ... you can't tell them and comfort them! At least I question the appropriateness, the receptivity, and what is the right thing to do by them, so often refrain.

The one that slays me most tho is my partners grandmother coming to me - the full on objective everything scene, ... so absolutely no mistaking what is visible and audible right before you when your chatting for 15 minutes, ... and just to keep on topic a bit, ... she was surrounded in a glowing white light the whole time and I can totally understand why people think angels have wings - coz you could mistake the radiant light and feeling of love she came with as something angelic with wings, ... but is it my place to go against all the in laws beliefs and tell her hubby (Pop) about this when he talks about her, etc, ... or take the chance of perhaps even upsetting him further myself to drop something on him he did not ask for?

His own children and grand children are mystified and often comment on the bond we have and that they don't understand it, ... (I know why it happened - but that is another story) but I still sit there torn in two directions about telling him how absolutely happy she is, ... and over stepping the boundaries of my partners family. I live in hope tho that some moment will arise when it just seems absolutely perfect and appropriate to tell him what his wife is up to, and that she really does look like an angel.

It's like you are describing my life!!!!!!
It is so very difficult to obstain from sharing info with them. My husbands grandparents come to me often, and I don't have the pleasure of sharing it with him!! I also feel like a live a double life, but the only thing that keeps me going is that I am doing great deeds for others, so if he were to find out, or any of his other family members, there is something great there to be revealed, nothing to be ashamed of. I believe that the time will come when they are able to embrace me, just patience...and lots of it!!!
My father in law is battling cancer, and he is now in remission, but he is convinced that he will die soon, and in turn, his life is a mess. He just sits in front of the tv, and stares off into space for most of the day. It pains me that I cannot elp him, but I think that there must be a lesson for me to learn from all of this...one of the challenges layed before me on my path here on earth!!!
