Hello,
I am having problems with the chat rooms. I click on the chat room link and it looks like there should be an area with information in it but it just has an X in a little white box. I'm on Internet Explorer 8 and I cleared the cache. I also updated to the most recent version of Java and lowered the security (I saw somewhere in the FAQs that having it too high could cause I chat issue). Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure if this will help anyone, but thought worth mentioning in case.
I had to manually tell my firewall to allow this site 'in' so it did not block parts of it. Don't ask me how to do it on your own firewall as as there are so many diff programs out there and I for one don;t use the Windows firewall. You would need to check in your 'help' section of the program you're running. Nat xxx

For IE 8... Java is listed in the Add-ons. To check if Java is installed and enabled click on “Tools” on the IE Menu Bar and click Manage Add-ons. In the Manage Add-ons window make sure that Tool Bars and Extensions is highlighted on the left hand side of the Window and then look for the Sun Microsystems section in the main area of the window. If it is listed there but shows to be disabled, click on the Java plug-ins and enable them. If they do not show up in the Add-ins, it means that Java didn’t install correctly. Yes, good stuff Yak, ...another thouhgt, ... if following Yak's instructions to enable the java plug in is still not helping , ....
....I can;t recall if this site had an Active X control to use it, but you would also need to enable that if that is the case. Usually this will pop up as a yellow bar at top ifyou have a pop up blocker, and you can right click and choose 'install axtive X control' , ...if you have already installed it, try looking for it in same place as plug in lists and make sure it is ticked. Only try this if the post above did not help as so long ago I can't recall if there even was one. I suspect so tho. Worth updating shockwave as well I think, ... I have found this has solved probs with some web sites too. You can find this at the 'macromedia' site or just google search. Nat xxx
